This is Bella.  She comes from a litter of 8 with her being the only female.  She is stubborn, irritating and so into everything.  She weighs 47 lbs. and is growing nicely.  Everyday I tell her I'm going to rehome her.  I would never for all the money in the world do that as with all her obnoxious behavior, I know in the end she will be and awesome dog and besides she is the love of our life.  She bullies her brother Peanut who is an 11 yr. old Boston Bull and terrorizes the  Her biggest problem is she thinks everyone she sees should love her when we walk.  I don't like choke collars or regular collars when walking so I have a really sturdy harness I use until she learns not to pull and I don't want to hurt her neck.  She has chewed all my throw rugs and chewed up cardboard, pulled out all my grass and dug holes.  gggg  Rugs can be replaced, grass can be replanted, poop goes in holes and covered so all is good.  If, I had researched these dogs I probably wouldn't have got her, but she is mine till the day she passes and will be loved and spoiled till that day comes.  Strangers love her and always tell me how beautiful she is and offer to walk her.  Not in this lifetime.  I guess because I'm 71 they think I can't handle her.  Wrong!  She is smart and a fast learner and every walk she improves.  She's been to obedience school, but she was too young I think, because she only wanted to see her litter brother and make friends with all the people and other dogs.  Sorry this is so long, but I waited over 48 hours to join and in a way was glad as I got to read a lot of post on here.  So, thank you for reading and have a great day.  And no, you can't have my

My poor Bella!

On Friday she had her second grooming.  I handed the groomer a written detail of what I wanted done and stood there while she read it.  When I picked her up I wanted to cry.  She was cut down everywhere but her ears and part of her tail to 1/4 of an inch.  My paper said " Please do not cut her ears, beard, mustache or from the base of her tail down.  The groomer said I stood there after she read it and told her to cut her all over to an inch.  She also has big bare spots behind her ears and…

Gentle leader

I finally listened to hubby and put a gentle leader on Bella.  Wow!  What a difference walking is now.  She walks beside me, no pulling and no stopping.  I am 7th heaven and can now enjoy our walks and take more then one a day.  I would tell everyone to start their puppy on a gentle leader because the difference in walking Bella is amazing.

Hi!! Thank you!!☺️ I join the club! Kahlua is my new 5 month old pup. Never really have had a big dog, always little ones. But she is so amazing!! But i have a few questions that i figured other people with golden doodles may help. She seems like a picky eater... she like her dog food in the beginning (dry) then I started adding  probiotics and she loved it. But now she wont really eat it without the probiotics. The breed then mention to give her the food wet. I did and she loved it... now not so much... im kinda thinking of changing her food ? What do you think

Sandra, thank you very much :-)
I plan to purchase labradoodle or golden doodle, and was looking for trusted breeders - wanted to ask around. But I actually found a breeders page on

I used it when it first came out for my 100 lb German Shepherd.

Took such a long time to wrestle with him getting it on but what a difference

I loved it.

Bella sure is a cutie

Well, I finally listened to hubby and put a gentle leader on Bella and walking with her was like a dream.  No pulling, no stopping and keeping a nice even walk with her right beside me.  Now we can walk without her pulling me along.  I would tell everyone to train their puppy on a gentle leader and it would make walking such a dream.

Welcome Sandra & Bella!  She sure is cute but what a handful (or a few handfuls)!

She sounds like my friends labradoodle - she can be exhausting just visiting a couple hours!  Private training lessons should help, that's what my friend does. Also she is doing agility lessons to burn off more energy.

I use a thunderleash to help the pulling problem.  There are lots of styles of anti-pull harnesses.  The thunderleash tightens around midsection and my Picco doesn't like that.
