Hi Thank you for the email; the dynamic duo Wilbur & Walter are located in Rocklin and normally use the RRUFF dog park located in the Johnson-Springview Park, RRUFF Dog Park, Rocklin has been open since December 23, 2011. This is a gorgeous site with three areas for the dogs - small dog, large dog, and special needs area. Just north of Hwy 80 Rocklin Road exit. We are looking forward to the Sierra Vista sponsored Doodle Romp at the Toad Hollow dog park right next to I 80 in Davis Ca. They have yet to schedule the event which is supposed to be sometime in October or November. Perhaps we will see you & other doodle owners there. /s/ Ron R
I have only been privledged to be apart of the goldendoodle world for 6months... but I honestly can not imagine my life without him. When him and I are alone - and the kids are off doing thier own thing and my hubby is at work - that is when he and I have our best moments. As a mom we talk ALOT we talk to our husbands - we talk to our kids... but talking to Opie is the easiest. He always agrees and he ALWAYS listens with the closest attention possible! His beautiful brown eyes lock with mine and I know he understands. He will sit and put his paws in my lap and just stare at me. Its a connection that I cant even explain in words. Our hearts speak the same language and we share pure - unconditional love. Always.
Thanks Margaret! My husband and I are very excited. ONly about two more hours til we leave to go pick him up! Our doodle is a F1B Mini which means he is a cross between a mini goldendoodle and a mini poodle. Our breeder expects that he will get around 30 pounds. =)
I'm looking forward to viewing a picture of "Wyatt" with your daughter. Daughters rule, especially red heads, going off down the street together... Watch out for us, we will have your 1st photo album ready. all you need to do is take the pictures.. LOL
Harlee and I went to obed. class to get AKC Canie Good Citizen certificate from AKC.
Obed. Class also is a good socializer for your puppy. Wait until she has all her shots before Obed. 6 Mths is a good time to start. You can train her to sit, down and come with a little treat as soon as you get her not first couple of weeks as she will be adjusting. Be very gentle usually just holding treat a couple inches above her head will get her to sit say command when she does and praise her. I took Harlee through obed.
classes, Agilty,go to DeltaSociety.com and also intermountain R.E.A.D. dogs.It is so great and rewarding. Doodles with training are naturals they are such people lovers.
Hi Margaret, thank you for your message. Toffee is doing really well, growing so quickly and picking up basic commands. We are still having the odd accident and have just experienced one of her mad half hours, but she's a real joy. We look forward to being able to take her out after for walks after her second injection. She'll be able to release so of her energy a little better now. & I totally understand your comment about being in the same room as them and having to cuddle them - they are so cute and adorable !!
Margaret you will be surprised how much they change. Sometimes especially when groomed they really look like a poodle. And enjoy him as a puppy because they grow over night. No kidding. I'm really excited for you all. You should go and see them and get some recent pictures. Don't forget to post them. Lots of luck!
