Lynne:  I like that!  "It's meant to be bonny!"  Oh, you take the high road and I'll take the low road and I'll be to Scotland before you etc etc etc  That's the song I heard the term "bonny"  isn't it?

Yes it is Fort William, never been there myself but it's meant to be bonny!!  All the highlands area is stunning, well worth a visit. x

When there, I drove up to Ft. Williams (  is that correct ?), way up north past the Loch...was going up to a ski area north of there, but lacked the time and didn't make it.  Had lunch at Ft. Williams...again, if thats the name...it was a long time ago...ahh, where is my world atlas when I need it?

Aye, we are rather nice!!  Loch Lomond is stunning but if you're ever over again a must see is the great glen near Loch Ness, stunning drive, and if you're ever back over our way just pop in for a coffee.   onlky about an hour and a half away from Glasgow 2 hrs from Edinburgh.  xx

Lynne...spent a couple of trips over at Prestwick, near Glasgow at a British Aerospace factory there.  NICE country....took a side trip up to  Loch Loman and stayed at a wonderful little bread and breakfast on the northern shore.  LOVED it.  ... loved the people.

I think we have a Dumfries, Virginia if I'm not mistaken.  Now we know where it came from.

Hi folks thanks for the warm welcome, i have posted some pictures of my crew, but will get some more on soon, Bryan lives in East Kilbride, which is near Glasgow and I'm in Dumfries, so it's fairly close i suppose about 75 miles away.  I have been having a wee look on the blogs, pictures and there are some lovely doods.   I look forward to getting to grips with how everything works soon.  xx

Listen to Bruce!   Enter the photo contest every month, when is the last time you entered Ginger?  I know I've only entered Pemon once and will have to do it again sometime soon.  But Sharon the photo contest can be fun.  Some real great pictures.
