A Community of Labradoodle & Goldendoodle Lovers

I went on a wonderful vacation to Myrtle Beach! Mommy is going to try to post from her new phone. She said to please be patient & that her smartphone definitely does NOT make her feel any smarter. You should have saw what word showed up when she originally put in the word "post". Mommy laughed and then turned pink. Justan wasn't able to go with us. Mommy says it's to hard on him trying to get in and out of the van, plus walking up stairs to our room. He got to stay home with my human sissy. He is so lucky! She gives lots of love and loves to snuggle. I missed him so much and even got a little home sick. I have missed all my wonderful friends! I hope everyone is ok! Bad news.... I didn't see any whale puppies :(

We found that the best time to take sunny on the beach was first thing in the morning and later in the evening. There were less people and he did great. By the end of the week he was on people overload and anytime someone approached him, he just sat. Haha! We stayed in the heart of Myrtle Beach and even walked him downtown. We love going to Myrtle Beach, because as long as your dog is on a leash, and you clean up after them, there is no problem. Although during peak season (Memorial Day to Labor Day) dogs aren't allowed on the beach between 10 am and 5 pm. The rest of the year there is time limit. I bet that Gizmo would do great now that he's older :)

We went to Myrtle Beach a couple years ago.  We didn't have Gizmo then.  We went with our son, (then) daughter-in-law and 2 grandkids.  We stayed right on the beach and had a GREAT time!  It was so hot - first week in June.  By the time we left it was 90*.  Can't imagine taking Gizmo, though.  He would have loved it, but I would have been too tense about him with all the people and rules about dogs on the beach, etc....
