Grace, I don't know how I left off "Sense of Humor" - they definitely have that!  And as far as how they think we sound - I always get an image of the Charlie Brown "wah-wah-wah"  speech when they tilt their heads! Lol!

Oh yes, Pemon has a lot of the same traits.  I'll tell you he had us laughing so hard this morning.  And they know when they make you laugh too.

I remember this picture of Dulcie's first B-day party.  She looked so pretty.

Buddy talks with  his squeaky tennis ball usually. When we have guests or are on the phone, he is there squeaking away on the ball and looking like he is part of the conversation. Do you suppose that is what we sound like to him??

Eli "talks" when he wants to go out. I love this picture too, it's just like a child relishing a birthday party. So precious.

Wish I could get Dulcie to "collect"!  She is more of a "spreader" - takes every toy out of her basket and scatters them everywhere! And then goes to work on putting my sofa pillows on the floor.  She does wipe water off after her bath, but usually on the side of my bed. . . .sigh.  Dulcie talks most when she is bored and wants me to play with her, and especially when I am on the phone.  Usually the person will say "What is THAT?!?" because she is making such a ruckus!  I loved this picture because she really was having fun (more than some kids, I think!), just waiting for the next thing we were going to pull out!

Gizmo has most of those traits ... especially the "talk".  He talks to Chad (our son who is temporarily living with us) every morning.  He talks to me when I won't pay attention to him and he wants to play/eat/go outside/is bored ... you get the idea.  LOL  That's a very good list!!!

Guess we're lucky except for the digging and counter surfing you have described Zeke to a t. We call him a whinner because when he talks it sounds more like whining

Beautiful birthday girl! Buddy has almost all of those traits, but he does not tear up his stuffies; he carries them around with him carefully and shows them to his favorite people and shares with visiting dogs. We have not had much opportunity to swim with him, so I am not sure about the water. He does not get in my fish pond - fortunately (though the neighbors boxer-lab jumps right in.)

You are so precious sweet Dulcie! Love this photo of you!

And Harrison, you are so smart and practical! Your Mommy should give you extra treats for helping yourself dry out quicker!

Okay I have another one:

Harrison will rub around a bush to get the extra water off him after swimming. He goes around it twice leaning into it hard..
