All our dear doodle friends know how hard I been trying to make a pro-fe-shunal career for myself. I had to drop out of bedience skool when I was little cuz my grandma broked her hip and then my Mommy had to look after her and we dint get done bedience skool.  My mom said I was sorta acting like a ditsy doodle at the time, so things rolled along and we never went back. Course, I is a very smart doodle like all of you, and I already know all that sit, stay, come stuff. Sometimes I even does it, if I feels like it.

So I started my career in barkeology. I have started many, many excavation sites, looking for the Lost Doodle Dynasty. Do you know that the Goldendoodle name goes all the way back to the 1990's??? I been payshuntly digging and trying to find artifacks. It would really help if I knew what a artifack looks like. Any of you guys know, be sure to tell me. But lately I has a real problem. Seems every time I start a new dig, it's snack time, or nap time, or cuddle time -- my skedjule is so busy. I just get started an I haf to go in the house. Well lately this is what has been happening. First time it happened, I thought sure I had found the lost Doodle Dynasty. But now, every time I start a dig, it's the same thing. I goes in the house and I comes back and finds this. You can't pick these things up, an it hurts your paws to dig around them.

I ask you friends and cuzzins, is this artifacks or is sumbuddy trying to sabotage me?

Your friend, Spencer

That would be so much fun Paddy Waggin. Maybe when we all have our doodle pawlooza we barkeologists can all dig together!! I like gardening too. I makes sure we don't have any of those pesky flower things to look after so Mom can spend all her time with me...an Elliott I guess.

Yup, it has been a muddy muddy week and I have been so bored and sad because Mom still won't let me dig. I have been trying out some other stuff.

I been helpin Mom with the human puppies. I reminded one of them to put their shoes away when they visit us.

Also I thought I would help Mom with some markiting research. The toilet paper packae says there is suppose to be 164 of those square things. But how do you really know unless you siantifickly check it out. This week I have totally unrolled 3 full rolls of paper but everything after 3 confuses me, or maybe I just have one of those foc-us things we was talking about before. So when I lost track of counting, I found out I may have some po-ten-shul as a inferior decorator. Isn't this much more att-rack-tive than plain squares?

I also tried a bit of woodworking, but Mom put some really icky stuff on that and now I can't finish.

You know, I really think Mom isn't letting me fully live up to my po-ten-shul. I was gonna go into the sewgeries like Pedro and she didn't let that work out either. When Elliott got that lump in his neck, I just knowed I could get it out for him. Just like a squeaker, an I can get any squeaker outa any toy in a quick snap. But no, she had to take him to the vet's. An then the vet sewed him all back up. For a while it looked pretty sore an I tried to lick it lots to help keep it clean. Also Elliott kep scratchin at it with his back foot and I would grab his foot to stop him. I even grabbed his foot if I thought he was thinkin about scratching, or dreaming about it in his sleep. An I knew when it was time, I could get those stitches out of there just like my stuffs. But then came the "turtle neck." Whaaaaat? It was turtle colour with a doodle head,  specifically an Elliott head, and I couldn't see the stitches no more. One day, Mom took him in the bedroom an when he comed out, no more turtleneck, no more stitches, an his stuffin wasn't even coming out!! It was all done, an my sewgical cur-ear was gone.

Soon I will be 2, almost a cur-ear has-been. I have to forge ahead. Please coax Mom to let me spread my paws, just a bit?

You guys are too funny...all my doodle cousins, I mean. My mother says I could be a barkeologist, too, because not only do I like to dig for artifacts, but I also like to bark a lot, too. My mother says the neighbors, especially the ones behind us, just love that. Isn't that nice?? We have had a lot of rain so the mud is just grrr-ate for digging or doing excavashuns. Yesterday my mother had to bring buckets of water and towels out on the back deck...first to get mud off me and then more buckets of water to get mud off deck. I have also descovered that the stuff she calls mulch that the lawn guy she hired put down in some spots she calls gardens is great for lexcavashun and then lying down on it to take a rest and finding a stick artifact to chew on. I don't really know about gardens 'cause I was too young at spring and summer last year to learn about them. I think she wants me to learn bondairies, and do less excavashun. My mother says she's glad she had time to visit here again because all of you made her smile and since my fur-ever father got sick and wasn't able to be here with us fur-ever, some days it's hard to feel happy. But she says I make her happy...most of the time. Sometimes she says I can be pretty stubborn and other times she says she can't believe what a good boy I am for such a young dog...do you think she's confused? Wish we could go on a dig together.
Well anyway, to all you doodle cousins, I'm glad you made her smile with all your discoveries and "aunt-ticks". Although I must say I don't like it when she's poking at this thing called an eye-pad or an eye-phone or her pee-sea because then she's not paying attention to me. So she doesn't stay on for too long cause she knows if she does, I I go off by myself and act sad.

You've all heard of the Lost Continent of Atlantis? My ekscavation has encountered a small snag --- MOM!! She won't let me touch it. I try to tell her all barkeologists have to deal with mud. She says I am and ex-sep-shun, whatever that means. But don't worry doodle friends, the quest for the lost Doodle Dynasty will continue!! Stay tuned.

Your friend Dr. Spencer (I gave myself a new title, has a nice ring to it, don't you think?)

Oh Cousin Spencer I am so proud of you.  Mommy said I would have to go to school to be a Barkeologist.  I told her I thought you could show me.  She was mean and said you can't teach an old dog new tricks.  But that is not true, is it?  And they never sent me to bedience school.  They said I didn't need it, but then other times they say they should have sent me.  Boy our Mommies and Daddies can't seem to make up their minds.  I'm going to tell Daddy about these artifacts and see what he has to say.  Hi to Elliott.

You know Cousin Spencer, it's so pawsome to know a sian-tist like you! Because Barkeologists are sian-tists, my Mommy said... I think your bye-oh-graffy should be on Wiki-Doodle along with the photo of your ekscavations and the artifacks you have discovered.

I like using the compawter but Mommy doesn't let me use her eye-pad, she says that my paws are too big for it, can you believe it!?!

You guys are so smart!! I knowed you would help me. I dint know there was three toothed doodles. Pedro you muss be really really good behaved to get to use the pawter, cuz my Mom yells if I even touch it. Wiki Doodle muss be a great place for us pro-feshunals to learn lotsa portant stuff. I will have to look for more eye-dee-yuh's Dulcie. I am so cited that this might be a real artifact from the ancient doodle dynasty. Thanks everydoodle!

Ooooooh Cousin Spencer you are soooo super smart (and pawsome) but real smart because that's what a Barkeologist has to be to do those diggins and ekscavatins and find artifacks... I went to the Wiki-Doodle on the compawter and I looked up artifacks and this is what I found... The word comes from the Doodle-Greek "art" that means something created by and "facks" that means somethin' that is for real... Some artifacks include sticks and rocks chewed by or drooled on by ancient Doodles of the 1990's so although I am more of a medical sewgeon, as you know, I think this might be an artifack, like a rock that a three-tooth Doodle must have chewed on... or somethin'... Maybe, as sweet Dulcie said, the name of this artifack is an "eye-dee-yuh"... and it's a good one.

How interestin'!! And sweet Dulcie, my Mom was laffin' very hard too... Mommies are funny.

Say hi to Cousin Elliott for us, we hope he's back to 100% and helping you out with the ekscavatiuns...
