Question.....husband thinks I have "brushing OCD" lol

My lovely husband tells me to stop brushing my goldendoodle so much. He tells me it's dog not model. My response, he's better than model haha I brush my goldendoodle 2-3 times day & only gone to the groomers twice for shavings  (currently 18 months old). I get mad when my husband purposely messes up my doodles hair, after all my hard work. My husband tells me and everyone I'm OCD about my dog's hair lol your thoughts?

I wish I like brushing my F1b who has the curly poodle hair! Plus, my Mr. Bentley doesn't like it so much. I say brush away! If your husband saw my groomers bill he'll stop teasing you lol! (Seriously, $75 plus tip every 6-8 weeks)

Well, my Doodle doesn't have the normal "no shed" coat. So I guess I might be a bit bias. MINE SHEDS so much I could make two more dogs a week. So, if you do have OCD and want to brush one please feel free to drop by my place and have a ball.... of hair! :)

I get away with brushing once a week when Picco is cut short but in the winter I let it grow longer, then I have to brush every other day to keep the mats away. Bathing & brushing is a great bonding time. I do enjoy it and so does Picco but his time is limited. I get about half his body then he needs a play break, then back at it later!

Barely any hair comes out lol he sheds so darn much, it's a pain lol don't like him matting up. Prince Axel does not mind, it's our bonding time but some days i wonder

Any hair left on your doodle? ;-)   That is alot of brushing. Maybe you should check into your local Excessive Goldendoodle Brushing Support Group!  I guess if Prince is happy with it and you are, there shouldn't be a problem. If you have to tie him down and force it on him then maybe you need counseling!  .....Keeping it light here :-)
