Our pup will be 12 weeks when we go camping for a week, we have a camper and a private campsite, I plan to put a tarp on the ground and our potty is a boot tray that he is currently using, he can play in the camper with us but for outdoor play and pottying use the tarp and fence we plan to set up. Carry him everywhere else ... After our week of camping we leave immediately from there and head to beach for a week, we rented a house that is open to dogs, the lady said her dogs are fully vaccinated and she told me how serious parvo is so she said don't sit him down on the ground or beach ( I was already thinking that) anyways I plan to use same set up, playing/running around in house and tarp boot tray outside for pottying. We have 3 kids and our friends have 3 kids so this pup will have lots of socializing going on! My dad is bringing his fully vaccinated adult Yorkie , that is kind of out of control, lol they got him and do like most people did, play with him and kind of train him lol but he is wide open all the time and he's like 4 years old.... Anyways I still thought it'd be good socializing for our new pup! We plan to carry our pup on golf cart rides and anywhere else we can, when we're swimming or at the beach we will leave him in his crate no longer than 4 hours at a time (age in months plus 2)
Does my parvo prevention plan sound good? I'm so scared for our new family member to get sick!
