A Community of Labradoodle & Goldendoodle Lovers

Hello everybody!  I am very new on this site and one of the wonderful people here, adviced me to put this little story on the "Blog" section. My dog's name is Toby and his story is a little bit sad but it has a happy ending. Three years ago, in a rainy October morning, he followed one of my colleagues on his way to work. He was around 6 weeks old. He was dirty and hungry and he cried all day long at the door of our wharehouse .After a few hours  the boys that were working there, let him in. At 5 o'clock, when the working program was over, our boss told them to get him out, because we already had two office was at a superior floor and i went to see him too. Then was the first time i saw him and it was love at first sight :)) I couldn't let him out , in the cold again. So i took him home, i washed  him, i fed him and... that was it! And now, here he is, our little spoiled baby :))

You might not know, but here, in Romania this is a very common problem:the dogs without owners.Sadly, very few people adopt some of them. The rest of them, are on their own:(

You are exactly right,Bruce! she is dragging her legs but otherwise she is normal: she eats, she barks and she loves us like a perfectly normal dog. Only that we have to carry her on the stairs.

My son had a dog for about 8 years that could hardly use his back legs.  He'd just drag it around as if nothing was wrong.  That disability doesn't stop the love ....

Roxana, you are INDEED my hero !!

Oh Roxana.  If I'm ever lost I hope you find me.  LOL  You have been a wonderful person.  Can't wait to see some pictures of Bety.  I'm so glad she is not in pain.
