You would have thought sumthin terrible happened for all the fuss they made, like a cat burglar or sumthin.

My Dad don't feel good today. He says he's cold or sumthin, but he's wearin shorts, so go figger. Anyway, tonight, sted of him cooking dinner like always, Mom told Dad she would make sum thin - ruh-oh! That never happens so I thought I better keep a close eye. Mom put a pan on the stove and got these things out of the fridge. They were white and not really round, sort of round but bigger at one end. Mom put them on the counter and went back to the fridge. I thought I should check it out, didn't want her poisoning Dad or sumthin, so I got up on the counter to vestigate. I just got one down to see it when Mom saw me. She yelled really really loud at Dad, "He's got an egg!!" At least I think that's what she said! Dad acted like the house was on fire. I never seen him move that fast when Mom yells, he usually just says "What?" and doesn't move at all. Anyway, I put the bad thing on the rug by the door and Dad picked it up and washed it and gave it back to Mom. They said something about how mazing it was that I dint broke it - of course I dint! Sheesh!

What was that about? Any doodle 'cept me got weird parents?

Loved that story!  I didn't let Gizmo read it .. didn't want to give him any ideas.  LOL.  You guys should really make a book of these stories.  I think they'd sell like wildfire!  Very entertaining.  Keep em coming.

So funny. Be careful in the kitchen Spencer. There are both good and bad things for dogs there. I am thinking about how I could open the refrigerator and then the cheese drawer. I have not tried the egg things. Most of the fruit and vegetables Mom gives me to try are yucky though the radishes are tasty. I really go for cheese though.

Kathy, that's a funny blog, and funny video by Rose. Thievery at it's best.  I know a lady who owns laying hens and one day when i was there she had a fresh egg with a little crack in it (it was still intact)...she just passed it to her dog like she was giving her a ball and the dog ate it, shell and all!  I did a double-take on that move.

Ha ha! I just watched the video (thanks Rose). If the oven was too hot would she have found the potholders?

Oh my Kathy.  Sounds like you have your hands full with that one.  I'm was just thinking how we do not have that problem with Pemon and the more I think about it, I think it's because he sticks to Mark like glue and 90% of the time he won't leave his side.  Now we still put him in the crate when we go out and have no idea what he would do home alone.  We just are not going to chance it.  LOL

Soooooo......I laughed so hard at the video Rose posted, I wanted to show hubby. Just now, as we watched it together laughing in the computer room, Spencer was in the kitchen, cleaning up a very large amount of pork cacciatore from the frying pan on the back burner of the stove in the kitchen. Thank heavens it wasn't hot . He is incorrigible!!

Hey cousin Spencer.  Maybe it was a golden egg?  Had to be if your Mom screamed that loud.  LOL  I wish I was there.   Hugs from your Cousin Pemon, The Gentle Giant

Dear Cousin Spencer, I think I know what an egg is... Mommy calls it an eggy-dee-doo and she makes a big show of it for me on weekends mornings because she cracks it open in a little eggy container and cooks it in the microwaves and gives it to me for breakie... it's actually pretty yummy. I like it. Next time, maybe you should try crackin' it and eatin' it to make sure your Daddy doesn't get more sick... I do think it's weird that they would wipe it off since I never eaten the outside of it and I haven't seen humans eating the outside of it eithers... weird...

In our house we don't have a funny thing that rings, Mommy and Daddy just have their smarty-phones and they don't let me near them, if I sniff them, Mommy wipes off my nose print but I don't find them too interesting anyway... they're boring. Humans are weird... I know. But we love them SO much!

Loving paws from your Cousin Pedro
