Picco had a black mother and cream father. The pups came out either of those colors. I originally wanted black but really liked the creams better when I saw them. And what a perfect sweetie I picked!

Yes, there are black goldendoodles. Often times a black puppy is an F1b or an F2 goldendoodle. Do you know if that's the case with Gracie?

hi everyone, yes Gracie is a handful. so active and playful. does anyone's doodle eat the wrong thing? no matter how fast I clean it up she usually beats me to it. she is very loving. gracie is solid black. everyone says she is not a golden doodle because of her color. her papers state that she is a golden doodle. have any of you ever seen a black doodle? so happy to stay in touch with everyone. looking forward to talking with you all soon!!!! cheryl

Hi Cheryl - My girl is Gracie too! She's an aussiedoodle. How are things going with your Gracie? We'd love an update! Please share her antics and her accomplishments and post some pictures if you can!!

Welcome, Cheryl! Be prepared to lose your heart completely.  These dogs are really special. I trained my doodle, Dulcie, with treats (even potty training!). My preference was Zuke's Mini-naturals as they are tiny and low cal, made in USA. With crate training (which I would highly recommend!),  I put a clock wrapped in a soft material in the crate and would give her a treat and then stay with her until she fell asleep. It has been invaluable in so many situations, whether we are traveling, visiting with family, at the vet's or the groomer's.  My groomer loves my doodle because she is so willing to get in a crate and never makes a peep! Enjoy your new baby!  They grow so fast!

You are so right. Loves to play with all her toys. She loves everyone. 4 months old now. So very smart and active. Any help in training would be so helpful. Thanks.

Welcome Cheryl!  Would love to see photos of your Gracie soon.  Doodles are soooo sweet and expect to be the center of attention and sure know how to get it :-)
