Many Thanks for Your Prayers and Friendship

Hi everyone!  I just want to say how much Terry & I appreciate all the kind words after sending Gizmo to the Rainbow Bridge.  It really is very touching to see all the memories and special times we've had together via this site.

I'm going to post a couple videos of Gizmo showing how silly and wonderful he was.  We are healing, but still miss him so very much.  Terry has been ill for the last month (he has an auto-immune disease - Wegener's Disease, which progressively gets worse).  It's been hard for him because Gizmo was his confidant when he couldn't sleep at night.  There were even times when Gizmo would stick his face in Terry's face at night and wake him up.  Terry is a Type 2 diabetic as well and Gizmo was alerting to low blood sugars.

I, on the other hand, am starting to not look for Gizmo when he's not next to me in the house and am not thinking I forgot to let him back in the house when he goes out.  LOL  I do have to confess that I miss the training and cuddles.  We may be on the hunt for our next doodle this Spring.  I can't live without another one.  He/she will never replace Gizmo, but will be an addition to our family that I think we really need.

Anyway ..... Thank you all again for your kindness and concern.

So sorry. May you find the joy and happiness in your new fur baby when the time is right for you both. Gizmo will always have a very special place in your hearts. Love and hugs

Jo Bill, your words make me cry.  I am so sad for you and Terry.  Gizmo was a great friend, and you should always remember him that way.

Again, so very sorry for your loss.

Be well.

Dear Auntie Jo and Uncle Terry, Cousin Gizzy will always remain in our hearts and memories and when you're ready, he will send you a new doodle boy or girl to take over the training he started with you. He is your doodle angel and always will be. Loving paws from Pedro

I'm looking forward to the videos!   That must be really hard on Terry, such a good little nurse in Gizmo.  An new pup can be healing but the timing has to be right.
