A Community of Labradoodle & Goldendoodle Lovers

So I was thinking last night... Mommy thought I was asleep under the bed, but I was really doing a lot of thinking...I was thinking that us puppies are very lucky because we all have at least 2 Mommies and in most cases 2 Daddies, plus a whole lot of different sized humans. Some are human puppies, some are grown up humans and we also have friends that are kitty puppies, bunny puppies, turtle puppies, fishy puppies, birdie puppies... I really would like to have a whale puppy, but I still haven't been able to find one!...

Anyway, we are so lucky because we have all these humans and friends around us that make our lives so interesting.

For example, me, I have a doggie Mommy, she is a Golden Retriever doggie mommy that is very beautiful - well, I haven't seen her since I came to live in my palace with my humans- but I remember her and she was very beautiful and golden and soft. My doggie Daddy is a Poodle that I don't think I ever met but I know is very handsome and tall and white and with a fru-fru haircut (that's what Mommy calls doggie Daddy's weird hairdo)... I don't want to get the fru fru haircut because I think I would look goofy, plus I am a Goldendoodle so my hair has to look like a rock star!... Ahm, where was I? Ah, yes... so those were my doggie Mommy and Daddy that made me and my brothers and sisters.

My doggie Golden Mommy was very sweet and loving and she gave us her milk and she taught us how to keep warm all around her and she also taught us to love each other and to love the humans that Golden Mommy had adopted and she also taught us to cuddle. She kept us clean and she made us feel loved those first few weeks that we were with her and she told us stories of happy puppies running in the park, rolling over in the grass and chasing bunnies and she explained to us that we would adopt our own humans and that we would love them unconditionally because they would love us back and give us treats and let us cuddle with them.

Oh yes, all of these things I learned from my Golden doggie Mommy.

And she told us that she would always love us and would never forget us and we would never forget her and our siblings because we were a family that would always be in each others puppy minds. Golden Mommy knew in her heart that we would be so lucky that we would find and adopt wonderful human families. I hope she knows that not only did I find humans that I love and have managed to train really well -I am so proud of them!- but I have also found through this thing called the internet, a whole family of Doodles that make me and my Mommy and my Daddy happy with shared stories and smiles and tricks and tales of wagging tails and that we go through happy times, sad times and worry times together and that we love each other because we have one thing in common, we have the best Doodle-loving humans ever!

Loving paws,

Pedro, you are a deep thinker.  I'm glad you got that all figured out.  You should write a book!  I'd buy it!

Oh, Pedro, you are so right.    I remember my Golden Mommy also, but I don't remember my Daddy - was apricot and they called him Bentley.  I wonder if he was from England, becasue I never got to meet him.  When my Human Daddy adopted me and took me home, only my sisters and myself were the ones left with the litter.  Everyone was gone!  The people that owned my Golden Mommy and sisters thought I may have anxiety in the morning being away from them and gave My Human Daddy some medicine just in case.  Well, my Human Mommy and Daddy gave me so much loving right away and treats and toys to play with, that I didn't need the medicine.  But I did miss them.  Aren't we so lucky Pedro?  I also love all my new friends that I met on the internet and wish I could meet each and everyone of them.  Maybe at my wedding, if I ever save enough money to buy Andrea's Gracie a ring. I'm afraid I'm going to lose her to another Doodle.  I told Jorja to keep an eye on her and I want her to save herself until our Wedding Night.  Pedro, you are going to be my best man, right?  I am going to have a lot of ushers in my wedding party too.  Oh well, let's keep a good thought.  I love you Pedro and I really look up to you, you have given me such good advise and taught me a lot.  I love your Mommy and Daddy too.   All my love, Pemon
