OH Barbara, my heart just stopped for a second there when I read your post then scrolled down to read the rest and I couldn't figure out when or how exactly he came back and then I saw it... I caught myself breathing again! And I'm so happy for you and so proud of baby Luke!!! Don't ever worry about coming here and posting your troubles, we're here for you and one way or another we've been through similar things and will always offer you support.

Pedro sends you and Luke many loving paws and I send you both a big hug! So glad he's home safe with his Mommy!! :)

Marlo and Dianne, thank you both!  I feel so stupid for over-reacting that I was almost afraid to ever be on here again.  Now that I am starting to settle down, the good thing in this is that wherever he was, he had 3 hours with me gone looking for him and him not in a crate and he didn't have an accident, didn't chew anything and acted like he was just doing what he was supposed to be doing and waiting for me to come back.   He is the incredible dog I have ever had!   I think I am closer to him in a week than some of the pets I had for years.  Now, it's all good.  Thanks for understanding.

Barbara, can't tell you how overjoyed I am that your little guy is home safe.  I know that heart-stopping feeling when you can't even breathe.   They are slippery little boogers - my cockapoo once escaped from my back yard in Memphis - my friend and I were in the living room and he said "Was that your dog that just went by the window?"  I almost died!  We lived near one of the busiest streets in the city (4 lanes of traffic) but we got her safely back before any harm was done.  There was this  little bitty hole in the fence . . . .Aargh!  Needless to say, I am super paranoid about fence integrity now!

So glad you found him!  Asha got out of our yard one day and went across the street to visit a neighbor. Thankfully he brought her back as he recognized her.  They can be slippery when the want to be!

I don't know what happened.  We were together in the backyard and I came inside for less than 5 minutes.  The backyard is fenced and he cannot get out.  When I went outside, he was completely gone.  I searched every spot there and he is only allowed in one room inside and he wasn't there either.  I  just started looking everywhere with no sight of him.  I finally came home to make up some flyers offering a large reward and he met me at the door.  I don't know how it could have happened but I sure am glad it did!!!  It certainly reinforces how a person feels...  Thanks, Dianne.  It makes me feel so much better knowing there is a God who watches out for little puppies and their mothers who sometimes don't know what they are doing!

What do you mean he's gone?
