Kodiak will be 10 months old the 6th of November. What a character. I couldnt have asked for a better puppy. He is a definite ham, love to have his picture taken. His dad was a goldendoodle, his mother a golden retriever. Could someone tell me if he is a f1, f1b or what, i dont completly understand how its figured. My little guy, and i use the word rather loosly as he is 50 lbs now is very protective, but knows if you are friend or foe. If he sees you outside our door, he will let us know with a little growl, but once he knows that mom and dad let you in the door, you are fine. We had someone come pounding at our door july 4th weekend and he went totallycrazy. He knew this guy wasnot supposed to be at our door at that hour and he let the fella know on no uncertain terms was he hurting anyone in hishouse. He isnt called King Kodiak for nothing. He is King of the Congo and he knows it. In May, I had a birthday party for my father and husband. There were people there that he had never seen before. He fell in love with everyone. My cousins little girl is around 7 years old and was all over him, hugging him, etc. He let her. My sister in law used to work in a vets office and did not know that we had gotten a new puppy. When she showed up, all she could say for about 5 minutes was its a golden doodle. Then she says he still has his puppy teeth. At that point he was only 4 months old. She didnt realize he was still a baby. When she found out, i think she wanted to puppy nap him, but i wouldnt let her. She has two golden retrievers. Doodles are wonderful and would recommend them to anyone. I tell Kodiak everyday he is the handsomest if Doodles. He knows it too.
