A Community of Labradoodle & Goldendoodle Lovers

I came across this Jolly Egg that seems to be quite indestructible and entertaining. I am considering buying one but wanted some input.

Have any of you purchased this item for your Doodle? I have read that large mouth dogs i.e. Pit Bulls and Bull Dogs can destroy them but those with a smaller mouth don't seem able.

They are not available in Canada and the shipping is more than the product but if they work I am willing to try it. Or find a friend in the states willing to buy and I reimburse, will see depending on feedback.

Let me know any pro's / con's any of you have experienced with this. I was leaning towards the large one. They look good and bonus are too big to go under furniture like a regular ball thus not as frustrating as they can't be "lost"

You're right Pedro, that could very well be.

Jo, he definitely has the "drive" to "get it".  That is his favorite thing to do.

Pedro, I think Cousin Gizzy is more of a demolition dog than a Dr.  LOL

Oh Auntie Grace, I think Cousin Gentle Giant Pemon is an Engineer Doodle because he helps Uncle Mark with his projects, that's why he doesn't perform sewgeries on his toys like I do because I am a Doctor. I think Cousin Gizzy also wants to be a Doctor, Auntie Jo...!

loving paws from Pedro.

Grace, if he doesn't like to chase things he can't get ahold of, he may not like it.  He should have that "drive" to "get it".  You are very lucky he doesn't destroy his toys.  Gizmo didn't really destroy anything until he got closer to a year old.  Maybe that's when we started to give him more plush toys....hmmmmm wish I'd thought of that then!  LOL

Oh, that may be a good Birthday present for him March 17th.  Gosh I can't believe he will be 3 years old.

I'll have to look for one of these Jolly Balls for Pemon.  But we are very fortunate, he does not chew and destroy his toys.  Didn't even do it as a puppy.  He is such a good boy.

We  have a kiddie pool for Gizmo.   He liked it OK,  but he likes the hose and sprinkler more.   I have a small rubber ball...about the size of a tennis ball...that he likes in the pool.  I fill it up all the way and he sticks his nose all the way under to get it.   He won't lay down in it though...don't know why.

I hope to get the egg, ball and ball with handle. Think they will be fun for him in the pool as well this summer. I plan on getting him his own kiddie pool for this kind of thing, don't think it would work well in the inground!!
