So I got in trouble AGAIN!  Mommy had just been brushing and combing me for 30 minutes and was getting ready to go teach her night class and saw on the ray-dar that we had a big rain coming, so she thought she'd let me out real quick 'fore it started.  But when I got out in the back yard, all of a sudden it was like bein' in my pool, 'cause it started rainin' so hard!  Oh, what fun!  I got the major zoomies and Mommy was hollerin' for me to get in out of the wet, but NO WAY!  So she's chasing me and then Eddie shot out the door like a cannon ball, but he hates the thunder so he was tryin' to find a place to hide out there, so Mommy had to try to get  him, too!  I was doggy laughing and jumping 'cause it was SO funny!  My back yard don't have much grass right now, so there were some really good mud holes back there and I tried to jump in every one of 'em while Mom was chasin' Eddie.  She finally called out "Daddy's home!", but when I went slippin' and slidin' in the door with my big old muddy feet, he wasn't there!  Mommy LIED to me! And she was in a really bad mood and the fur on top of her head was a little soggy after she finally got hold of Eddie and the bathroom's a big mess 'cause she made me go in there to get my feet washed.  And it took 3 towels to get me dry.  So I'm in big trouble.  Pedro, I'm afraid I might get pinched, so you might need to teach me how to cry real pitiful (even if it don't really  hurt much!)

Oh Auntie Dianne, Mommy found the video when she made me confucius about Daddy coming home but he really wasn`t... she says that her voice sounds really squeaky because she was doing doodle baby talk, but the point is, the made me confucius like you made confucius to sweet Dulcie to get her to come in, remember? Loving paws!! - Pedro

If you want lights its apparently cheaper to buy clip on lights for bicycle helmets than from a pet store. Look into, I plan on getting one for Molson this spring when the bike stuff comes out. Approx 10.00 battery operated vs 24+ for special collars.

Indie, wish I could get across the big water so we could play in the mud together!  I'm not afraid of the dark either, and my mom has to come after me with a flashlight, too! (Grace, you may be right - I know it was around before I joined the group!)

You are all too funny!  Dianne I'm trying to think who introduced us to the wordZoomies.  I really think it was Pedro, but not certain.  Hopefully someone will let us know.

Dulcie you make me feel better, I love the rain too, also mud, snow, sand, dung heaps & anything else that makes me less girlie! Mum despairs of me & I think she might use those words that Kathy was mentioning when I managed to whizz past her with my muddy body flailing around the house! Just lately she's got really beastly & ties me to the outside tap & hoses me down, ooh it's so cold but she carries on regardless of my protests & then she insists on drying me off before I'm allowed to go & play with Milo or the cat!

Jo, mummy says she had to do the same as you with Gizmo, as our old dog Abby was terrified of thunder & fire works too. I'm not scared of anything & love to sit in the dark & mummy has to come & find me in the garden with a torch! :)

Glad there was a smile or two from this lovely experience!   Louise and Kathy, wish I could take credit for the term "Zoomies", but it came from someone on this site - can't remember who coined it originally, but there's no better word to describe what they do with that pent-up energy, is there?  Alessandra, I'd love to see that video!  I'm embarrassed I have to lie to my dog to get her in the house, but I was desperate! Lol!  Jo and Martha, maybe the boys are just trying to "help" with landscaping?  :)  Grace, she really is Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde.  Today she's been a sweetheart, lying on the couch with me with her head on my arm, while giving me the  "Look", every now and then.  Ya gotta love 'em.
