I got one for you wonderful people.

I love love love!!! The idea that I get to trim my Doodle. I think it will be fun to play with different cuts tell I find one that fits Dexter.

So do you do it your self or do you take your Doodle to a groomer?

What do cut do you do for your Doodle?

Long or short?

I just trimmed Dexter's feet. He was sliding all over my hardwood floors he slipped and fell one to many times so I cut the hair way down.. Took about an hour because he thought it was play time but in the end we got it done. He did not slide on the floor as bad but he did not seem sure how he liked the snow on "naked" paws.

I think Dexter is going to have the fur that curls because his chest and neck already curl a bit. I have had to do sanitary trim on him already and trim around his eyes as well as having his ears plucked, so I think with the 75% poodle I will have to do a cut before I know it.

I am excited to see what people think on this one.

Probably ate too fast.  Pemon use to get the hic-cups all the time also.  I thought there was something wrong with that, but it's from eating too fast.

Ate too soon probably... Justan does that. He has to settle down before he eats... Or not eat before running on a beach... or don't eat too fast.... HAHAHA!

Dyna went for a long run with dad and when she got back she ate all of her food at once and about an hour later she thru it all up. Ever had that happen. Did she run to far or eat to soon?

Krystal, I found the links from an earlier Grooming post. These are great!

There is a set of instructions that might help: http://goldendoodles.com/groom/groomingdoods.htm

There is also one written by a professional groomer - http://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cache:6RDFvLDO1j4J:g...

Now that is funny Mitzi.  This is true.  Dyna could have come out looking like this!  LOL

Dyna is beautiful.  I know what you mean, a little short but sometimes they have to do that if they get too matted.  She will grow it back real quick.  My gosh she is big!  Yes?   How much is she weighing? I really love her color.

I found a good picture that shows how to cut them:

OH! Poor Dyna! She cut all the hair off her legs too? The fact that she's done Dyna in the past and knows how you like her cut... well it just seems weird for her to make that kind of mistake. What about her tail? Poor baby.... time to get some cute doggie sweaters and bundle her up.

If and that is a big if, you take her back make sure you take a picture of how you want her cut, and let her know how much you did not like the last cut.
