A Community of Labradoodle & Goldendoodle Lovers

So all the talk about the Jolly Egg (which I had never heard of before!) has made me wonder... what other toys have doodle lovers found to be enjoyed AND sturdy for their dogs? Jasper loves 'unstuffed' animals...the kind that have no stuffing in the body, but stuffing and a squeaker in the head! He will play with these for hours. He has a monkey, an elephant, & a bear. (I found them at Target, reasonably priced too!). Tennis balls get a lot of use in our house, as well as rope toys and toys that hide an empty water bottle inside. Jasper chews through many toys very quickly, so I am always on the lookout for new sturdy toys! Would love to hear what everyone else has found...

I am hardly looking at the toys...I love the boys' white fluffy coats!! They look cottony soft.

Not that I know of. If it could be done, I'm sure one of these boys would have done it by now lol!

Question about the Jolly Teaser Ball .... Can they get the inside ball out of the outside ball?

I like the look of the Jolly Teaser, I might have a look for one of those :)

Oops, thought I had added 3 photos. Here is the wubba-tugga-war photo.

I was taking some pictures and suddenly remembered this discussion about toys. So for anyone who is still following this, here are some of the boys' favourites. They love to play wubba-tugga-war, but it has a tendency to amputate legs off the wubbas very quickly. They love the fuzzy ones best, but you can see the nylon one on the floor for when they finish off the fuzzywubba lol.

The outdoor photos are this morning in our fresh snowfall. This is the large size Jolly Teaser ball I was talking about earlier. Inside the big red ball there is a smaller green ball that they have fun trying to get out through the holes, and the holes make it easy to carry around or have a tussle over! We use the 12" size outdoors and the 8" size indoors. Actually we have 2 of the 8" size due to popularity, but it doesn't stop them from both wanting the same ball lol!

It's been a record 'no snow' year for us...but we'll pay for it at some point. :). We are about 25 miles west of Chicago. Usually we have been buried in snow several times over by now! NOT that I am complaining! And you were right...the antlers did not smell and were not messy!

Oh, am glad you don't hold a grudge and am glad you're still not cleaning some stain out of your nice white carpet.

It's February and you are just getting your first snow?  After i get off this site I'm going to check the USA map to see how far south Illinois is. We have about two feet of snow!

I think the love of the white fluffy stuff is a doodle thing.  Have fun Jasper! Take care Catherine.

Oh Andrea, please don't feel bad!!! It really wasn't your fault one iota. Jasper seems to have a bit of a sensitive stomach, but I also read online that the 'poops' has been more and more common with the deer antlers and they aren't sure why. One day and it was gone...and he enjoyed the canned pumpkin with his meals. :). It didn't slow him down a bit either! He was his usual bundle of energy...especially at obedience class. LOL. He loves the Wubba you suggested and his Jolly Egg also arrived today. Add that to his first-ever snow and he is a happy pup!
