My Mia is 16 weeks old and has started loosing her puppy fluff; she has started to look a bit scruffy.  Her shedding pattern looks very funny with it all coming out at the front first.  I was wondering, has anyone else experienced a shedding pattern like this - I wasn't sure if it is normal.  The vet didn't seem concerned and she seems happy enough !!!  I have posted some photos on my page.

I remember Cal having similar shedding.  He didn't seem bothered, so niether day I.  Before I realized it the puppy fluff was gone and I didn't remember when it had stopped.

Pemon was 6 months old when we had him groomed for the first time.  I don't know if people wait longer, but he needed the works.  Removing the hair from his ears and nails cut.

Pemon is a beautiful colour - 88lbs - I thought Doods were between 45-55lbs.  I have hust realised that they can be much bigger !!!  At what age do they first need grooming & cutting?

I've got a good one for you.  When Pemon was loosing his puppy fluff my husband use to say he had a Rastafarian tail because it look like rastafarian dread locks.  I'm so glad he grew out of that and has a beautiful tail that fans out.  For a while I called him Monkey face.  I think it is normal for your Doodle to look a bit scruffy - he will grow out of it.  then the real fun begins - paying a groomer to keep his hair short.
