A Community of Labradoodle & Goldendoodle Lovers

Hi, all my good Doodle Buddies and Aunties and Uncles!

Mommy said it was time for me to write a little bit, so she is hepping me do this (my paws are awful big for the little buttons on the ‘puter.)

I have been a very busy doodle through November and December.  My Bachan (that is “gramma” in Japanese) came to stay with Mommy for a month in ‘tween Thanksgiving and Christmas and so I had to spend time lovin’ on her.

I hepped Mommy do house cleanin’, too, ‘cause evvybody came to our house for Christmas.  My Mommy was busy, too, making 3 meals a day ‘stead of just eatin’ little bits of kibble she found ‘round the house and she took Bachan to exercise class, and me to Aunt Cheryl’s, and was finishing up teachin’ and dogsitting for our friend the Boo-vee-ay (well, I was really the one doing that!)

Then evvybody came, and Mommy cooked some more!  And my puppy cousin Chicho the Chihuahua/Jack Russell came with my Auntie Wanda and cousin Hannah!  We played and wrestled and ran, but I was terrible embarrassed ‘cause that little bitty squirt could outrun me!  And he kept bitin’ my feeties, so I did a little dance all the time and evvybody laughed!  But I was really sad when he had to go back home.

Now it is January and Mommy is back at work and we go to the farm 2 or 3 times a week to play, and my friend Delta, the Boo-vee-ay comes almost every day and sometimes I go out with Mom in the car to do chores and sometimes Delta and I stay home.

And once, Mom went to the farm-a-see (but it dint look like the farm to me!) to get some medcins and the lady sent me a dog biscuit through the window and it was yummy!

The other big news is that my mommy is going back to Watamala to trans –a – late this week, like she did last year.  I don’t really want her to go, but she says it is a little something that she can do for peoples that needs our help, and we has so much in this country and some other peoples has so little so it is a good thing to do and these are the doctors and nurses and helpers that do the people "sewgeries", Pedro!.

And Mommy says she hopes Daddy don’t starve to death while she is gone, ‘cause when they got married, there was actual spider webs in the oven. So I will go to my Auntie Cheryl’s farm for a whole 10 days and play with Merle

and Sophie and Ginger and the grumpy cats that swat at my nose, and I will see cow puppies and horse puppies and eagle birds that fly high in the sky!  I hope evvybody is having a fun winter like me and Mommy says she will help me write again when she comes back home!

Oooohhh, we do love hearing from you Dulcie. You have such a fun life. We are a little snow-bound here and I'm not lovin' the frozen snowball paws too much. My mom tried snow booties, but I didn't love the snow booties either, and my mom kept getting a funny look on her face when I would come back in with just one or two on my feet. (Just between us, I always tried to leave them in the realllly deep snow.) Anyway, I'm looking forward to seeing the grass again, and I'm pretty sure a couple of my favorite toys are waiting to be free of that cold white stuff too. Have fun at the farm and safe travels to your mommy!

Ooooooh sweet, Dulcie sounds like you have been so busy with so many familys and friends. Your Bachan is very cute and Auntie Dianne is so pretty and we are so happy to know all of you and to hear about your advenchurs and Auntie Dianne's good works. It's pawsome that she's going to the Guatemala with the human doctors that do sewgeries, may she have a safe trip and return soon to lots of lovin' from you. In the meantime, we also hope that your Daddy eats well (maybe leave him some of your kibble lying around?) and you have fun at the farm with Auntie Cheryl and the gang! Lots and lots of loving paws from me and hugs from Mommy - Pedro

Oh Dulcie, your mom is so busy doing all kinds of nice and portant stuff, you should be proud of her! It's great you help out too, someone has to keep those other doggies entertained. I'm visiting my granma this weekend. I heard mom saying something about no more toys - isn't that what granmas are for?  Farms are sooo cool! I love barking at cow puppies the best. I don't at horse puppies so much anymore cause they can be friendly and rub noses with me.  Tell your mommy to have a safe trip!

Wow Dianne and Dulcie, you've had quite a couple of months! Lots of company, human and puppy! Best wishes for a safe and wonderful trip, such a grand thing to do Dianne.
