We are thinking of getting a brother for Marley. Probably won't happen , if it does , until fall. We have ran into a couple of people and they say it is great and don't regret it at all. Any suggestions or comments ? Would love to hear from those with two!

Pemon is a F1, as you probably know that is first generation and they say there aren't as much problems since they are not inbreed (is that the correct word?) as much and they are healthier.  Just like Trixie, Pemon has a great disposition, so loving, intelligent, funny, goofy and of course there are those stubborn days.

Eli is an F1 and he's the only doodle I've ever had, but he's a peach!

Trixie is also an F1, and I'd probably go that way again if I was so lucky as to get another doodle.  I have no reason for saying that except I love the typical sweet Golden disposition and it just seems to me that you might get more of that when your dog is 1/2 Golden instead of only 1/4.  Also...since we worship and adore Trixie we'd probably want to get the same next time!! :)  No science behind this though! ;)

Oops I goofed! The F1's are due the end of August. I'm really leaning towards them, just because that is what Marley is. ???? Any feedback ? I always welcome it !

Yippee!!  Can't wait to "meet" her!  Our Trixie was very red as a baby.  That's why we chose her since all her litter mates were white.  Can't wait to see the new baby when you get her!! Congratulations! :)

Oh Laura! You'll have us all on pins and needles waiting for your new little girl! Marley will be so happy too! Let us know as soon as they're born! We also picked out a curly one (although he picked us). We ended up with a male companion for Chesney because we lost our senior male dog, Jax.  Chesney is pretty easy going and lets Eli go first for just about everything, but he definitely rules the roost as far as "guarding the house against all manner of awful things."

Yes Debbie, we have put a deposit down for a red female goldendoodle. A litter of F1b's are due any day and a litter of F1's are due the end of July ! So Marley will have a sister not a brother ! Went back and forth but, quite a few say it's better not to have two males because of competing to be the pack leader. So we've decided on a female. Now the decision to get a F1b or F1. Lol. Marley is a F1. When we picked him out at 5 weeks old , we pick out one of two of the curliest males. He does not shed. Plus , it will also depend on how many females Bella has, F1b's We are 3rd pick of females and second pick females of the F1's. Both are standards. Exciting !!!!

I got my second dog to have a companion for my first dog female who was anxious when I left the house for a couple of hours. She would cry all the time. They have two months difference. Of course it is double the cost. When we go on a trip, it cost a lot for pension... but I never regretted it, it's a choice of life. When you have children, they play with the dog, but once the children leave the house, you have to play with the dog. With two, you don't have to, they play together. I will put a video of their first day together.
