Aloha Golden Doodle fans. We live in Hawaii and we are trying to find a Mini Golden Doodle. we can't get one from the mainland unless they are 10 months old and have been tested for rabies titer. Can any one help us?

She is really cute. I think mine (Russett) looks a little curlier but it maybe because they have her fur pretty short.

She will be worth the wait...  Izzi is a curly fleece, apricot color

It will be a long time. It has already been a couple of months. She will be worth the wait.

The other thing is, that I forgot to mention, is that we don't want a puppy. My husband doesn't want to go through the puppy stuff. I have been told even though a labradoodle is an adult they bond well with new people.

The reason it will be that long is that I found a breeder that knew she was going to retire a dog I like after her next litter. That way  the 120 wait period, after the rabies titer works well. She had another beautiful dog, but she is 50lbs(a little too big for us) we could get now, but you still have to have a titer and wait 120days. I would have to pay board during the wait period. I hope this makes sense. LOL

Marsha:  It will take that long to get your Doodle to Hawaii?  Wow!  The sooner the better, I hope it is March instead of April.

We should get her in March or April 2012. She is a curly fleece, apricot color. She is adorable. If I knew how to post a pic I would. LOL! The breeder sent me about 50 pics, starting from when she was a tiny puppy. It's cool because I have a whole photographic history even though she is 3 years old.

I'm really excited for your Marsha.    Tell us more.  How old?  Color?  etc. etc.  Have you seen a picture? Maybe you can post that on our website.  Wishing you the best and that all goes well!

do I misunderstand?  Are you saying the breeder wants to have another litter in 2012.   Are you going to wait for a yr or so for your dog?    What is her age now?

She is actually going to have a litter of puppies in the winter of 2012 and then she will be retiring. The breeder has shipped dogs around the world and knows about our crazy quarantine.
