A Community of Labradoodle & Goldendoodle Lovers

My Cheyenne is 14 years old and still doing pretty good.

Cheyenne has been a therapy dog for the past 8 years but is now retired, plus service dog for my husband for the past 4 years.  These Doodles love to work don't they?

His does show some problems with his hips so he is on a good diet for weight, and is on GABAPENTIN 100 MG twice a day plus fish oil and Synovial support supplements

he spends lots of time on his pillow by the sunny window,  Still wants to go for walks but last time he stumbled and limped for a few minutes then back to OK.  Think problems is getting worse. Loves his message time and of course some toy pull time but our gentle majestic friend no longer can get into the car so we have a ramp for him.  Still OK with a few stairs for his potty time.

I know time is getting short but until he leaves us he will get the best care and love we could ever give.

Just saying

He is beautiful! I'm going to look into the supplements that you mention because my Pedro at 10 yo is starting to show hip problems. The thing is, I don't think he realizes that he's not a puppy anymore... They are such amazing dogs! Loving paws to Cheyenne!

Slowing down but still going!  Wishing you many more years with Cheyenne cuddled up on his pillow!

What a wonderful story, beautiful dog.

Here's to many more years with your guy!

My 14 year old only starting showing her age when deep snow was no longer a reason to 'party'.  Like today...
