Mouthing and Pawing

Before my question . . . a little background so anyone with some thoughts can know what we are already doing. Gracie is 17 mos. and we have been in formal obedience class pretty much non-stop beginning at 3 1/2 months. She is impressive during training sessions; she learns new commands rapidly, and works very well off-lead, however . . . she remains a highly energetic pup and has a reputation for being a ball of energy and a bit of a clown. Monica and Murphy

After noticing that both the "counter surfing" blog and Monica are gone, I sent a message to Lois I mistakenly thought that Lois was the moderator, but as it turns out, she was the right person to contact anyway. Vectra and Scratching

Hi All - I posted about our flea problem a few weeks back, but now I have a question along a different line. Has anyone used Vectra and found it to NOT work or had their pup scratch MORE after application? We are one week into our second application and I am noticing a pattern . . . About two weeks into the first application I called our vet because Gracie was still scratching crazily (which causes matting-ahhhh) and I was still picking live, seemingly healthy fleas off of her. Vectra and Capstar

Hello All - I just got off the phone with a vet tech and I'd like to now put this out to the community . . . The flea situation is pretty bad here in NE PA and for the first time in many, many years, I personally am dealing with an outbreak. As I mentioned in a previous post, we were using Frontline, but discovered that it had lost its effectiveness. We have now switched to Vectra, which is highly recommended by our vet and I've found a good deal of positive feedback online. However . . .…
