A Community of Labradoodle & Goldendoodle Lovers
Kathy and Sunny want to wish every single wonderful member of this site, and their beautiful Doodle-Dogs, a happy and healthy holiday season. And of course a great 2015, too.
Sunny is taking a bath again. He's over two years old now; where does the time go? With love and hugs to all...Kathy
How could anyone ever get upset at a face like that? I had to share this picture of Sunny sitting on the back porch and wanting to be let into the house as usual. I waited for him to dry completely, brushed him out, hosed him off, got the bathtub ready and told him to go get in it. Which he did of course since he loves warm baths and bubbles. Well,…Continue
First, thanks to Gracie for questioning where I was, and how I was doing. I just saw your e-mails when I logged on. Sunny and I are fine and I am still super-busy with my "fossil research."
I am linking a 30 second video I took a couple of days ago. Since Sunny was a little pup-dog, he has loved the water. He is now a bit over one year of age, and his love of water still remains. Especially if that water is warm and has bubbles in it.
Please watch my…Continue
I realized I had not posted a picture of Sunny for months. Shame on me! Sunny is now 9 months old and his face-fur is growing back out after a clipping disaster. There are no Goldendoodles in this area, so the knowledge about pruning them is minimal or non-existent. My poor baby came back to me sans whiskers, beard and head-hair.
Sunny did end up to be a Mini-Goldendoodle like I had hoped for. I would have loved him just as much had he been 98…Continue
Sunny has a new game...
Sit on the back porch, try to look normal, and ask to go inside, wet feet and all.
Hope that your wet feet and cute face distract Kathy.
In reality, inside your mouth you have the following:
I want to thank those who were wondering what happened to me. I have been busy with a time-consuming task that has… well…taken up my time!!! I am one of those annoying type of people that gets involved in something and all my time and energy goes into it until I get it finished. No, it’s not quite finished.
I just uploaded some pictures of Sunny and his Peacock adventure this morning. Just wait until spring when this place gets really active. Hopefully no wild turkey hens or…Continue
Yes, after all the discussion this morning on how much all of our Doodle Dogs love the snow I was forced to take this picture. Sunny is on the little foot bridge that goes to the pond island. I normally have nesting wild Canadian Geese on that island this time of year but they wisely decided to not do that after eyeing Sunny.…Continue
I am not sure how this works but I will eventually figure it out. A "Blog" is different than a "Status" and I have no idea how "Pictures" show up on the Blog automatically. But I wanted to say I have two new albums:
To see a very easy way to wash your Doodle-Dog go to:
And to see…Continue
Please excuse me as I think out-loud and ramble-on as I have a habit of doing. I realize I am in a unique situation in that I have a Doodle that can interact with “strange” animals on my property. And I can get pictures of it since it’s around my house and not in a field somewhere.
Sunny was just herding wild turkey! LOL…I am not making this up! I have four resident wild Tom Turkeys that stay on my property year-round, and about thirty hens that come…Continue
I would like to share the Goldendoodle and Alpaca races I had today. Every few weeks I let the Alpacas out of their meadow area so they can graze on grass they can’t normally eat. Sunny is my Goldendoodle puppy that was born on 21 September 2012. I don’t let him in with the Alpaca’s unsupervised yet because I worry about potential stomping! They all get along and enjoy each other and the Alpaca’s put up with Sunny’s nonsense. Sunny does not ever chase the Alpaca’s, but he does try…Continue
Zeus Video from Guinness World Records It's a couple of minutes long; very cute. Check out Zeus…Continue
Sunny wanted me to put up some pictures of his three Alpaca buddies. From the left on the close-up they are Jefe, Babe and Oreo. Sunny kind of likes his hair styled like Babe's. I took the close-up picture last summer after they had been clipped. The other photos are just the Alpaca's on the property.

I am wishing everyone a Happy and Healthy New Year and may it be filled with only laughter and joyous occassions and absolutely no fleas...
Thanks for the compliments on Sunny! The problem is that he knows he is cute so I constantly tell him: "Just remember Sunny, you can't get through life on your looks alone."
Oh my goodness; what a big boy!!! I was told my doodle is 1/2 Miniature Poodle and 1/2 English Golden Retriever but he is just under 20 ponds at 14 weeks. Do you remember what your gorgeous dood weighed at that age? Thanks so much...Kathy in Williams
