Gained 4/10 of a lb. (includes 1/2 lb. of contraband ham).
I went to the store last night and bought some new treats! I got a puppy nylabone edible treat and I also bought another one for my springer. Well, they both loved them but Duncan gobbled up his and when I went to throw a load of laundry in - I heard the puppy bark and when I came back - Mr. Duncan was finishing his as well! Seems like everything that I get for both of them - my older dog eats quickly so Finn can't get any! Not quite sure how to handle this because I hate to crate Finn…Continue
Just wondered if any of you have pet insurance and what kind you might have. Thanks.
Oh, I am in so much trouble! Last night, Mommy fed me and Eds like always and started fixing Daddy’s kibble. But the thing that dried my towels was broken, so Daddy was trying to fix it ‘fore he ate dinner and Mommy kept having to stop and go in that little room where it is to hold the flashlight for Daddy. Daddy was saying some funny words (well, maybe not too funny, ‘cause Mommy wasn’t laughing!) in a big voice and they were pretty busy so I visited the counter and found some really…Continue
Hi and thank you for your kind comments on our new little guy! From the size of his paws, he will not be little for long! We also have a 3 year old Springer Spaniel and my questions is - can the puppy eat the same type of chews that our springer eats? He loves anykind of "flavored" rawhides, preferrably the kind stuffed with something. It's difficult to keep the puppy away from them because our Springer kind of dangles them in front of him to tease him. We have purchased deer antlers and…Continue
All working owners: I was wondering what all of you do when having to let out your puppy while at work.
I am lucky enough to work close to my home, so during my lunch break I come home and let Winston out. But now I will have to be traveling a bit for work and won't be able to come home in the middle of the day.
How long do you leave your pups in their crate OR do you keep them in a section of the house until you get home? What have you found that works…Continue
I hope everyone in the US had a nice Thanksgiving. Buddy had fun with my three grandkids ages 9-18, We are expecting snow/rain midweek so we may see more of muddy Buddy. With that in mind, we installed a hand held shower in the downstairs shower today. Hope to use it on muddy paws and face.
Dyna has another new best friend. This is our 17 year old grandson that is visiting from Portland and he and Dyna bonded very fast. Now Andrew wants a Doodle of his own. They are watching TV together.
Hi everyone! So, no issues have been in our house for sometime with animals and I thought we were on a good run until this past Wednesday!
My husband and I went out to a concert (Trans Siberian Orchestra, which was spectacular I must add) and went out for supper afterwards, so we were gone from Faith from approx. 2pm until 9:30pm! My son we nt over to my daughters apartment from 2pm until 6pm so Faith was alone for 4 hours, which she has done before! But she has never been alone…Continue
Well, unlike Mommy, I didn't gain any weight from my Thanksgiving feast (which was only a couple of pieces of white turkey meat. I didn't get any of the good greasy stuff. Sigh). I am almost 11 months old this week (Mommy says she wasn't accounting for the 2 or 3 extra days each month, so we kind of have to wait to say I'm actual 11 months, since I was borned on January 20th and won't be a year old until then.) She says I'm still pretty skinny, but I'll prolly get a little fatter later…Continue
Hope you all have a wonderful Turkey Day. Relax and enjoy!
One of the things I am most thankful for is finding this wonderful community who has adopted Pemon and I as part of the family. You all mean so much to us.
Enjoy your turkey, Pemon says he can't wait! He doesn't ever remember having Turkey. Mark isn't much of Turkey man, but I got my way this year! LOL.

So back to the Vet we went today to check the doodles eyes and they both got a clean bill of health for that! Yeah!! Hopefully this won't come back. Good thing I made the appointment though because Jax did something to his leg and was favoring his one foot. Yup...Vet said he sprained his "elbow", which I think is a knee, lol. So more meds for the poor boy. I'm sure he slipped outside on a snowbank in the backyard where they love to run and play, and run and play! Good thing it's pills now…Continue
Hello Bloggers! Hope you are all excited for Thanksgiving!
--My 4 month old puppy has learned sit, paw, lay down, and come. However, I was wondering if any of you have some good tips for "stay". Any tips would be helpful! Thanks :)
Thanks to everyone who responded to my Glucosamine question. I got a pill crusher and have been giving it to him in food. Usually he doesn't get "people" food, but now he gets it twice a day.
I fry an egg a little - the yolk and whites are runny. I put the powdered pill in it and he LOVES it! All he has to hear is the spoon tapping on the glass bowl and he is right by my side with his nose on the counter! He waits nicely till it's ready, but he knows it's for him. I…Continue
My Daddy's friend sent us pictures of me in the Parade the other day. This is my favorite I think I not only look like a Star but very sophisticated. All though Daddy says I am a "goofy doofus" that must be even better because he smiles really big when he says it.…Continue

I want to say thank you for all your love and all the kind things you say to Pedro and I. Being part of this wonderful Community is so much fun and has led us to meet such amazing Doodles and Doodle People. We love you all and it is a privilege to have your Friendships!
So this time is my turn to share with you a little poem that I wrote for him that is also on our page and one of my favourite photos of our little summer photo shoot.
Well, every time we spend a little time at the farm, it's like going to a reduction spa! We've lost just a tad (Well, Dulcie did anyway, wish it were true with me! - Maybe I need to go to the farm . . . :)). I missed last week since I was out of town, but here we are sans week #42:…
A friend of mine has a fb doodle that has the same father that Dyna has. She stopped by the other day and when she saw Dyna her reaction was "oh she is so little. I have never heard that before about our 65 pound bundle of curls. But her brother is 80 pounds a 11 month. I think he is related to Pemon not Dyna.
