It's that time of the year!
I know how much we all Love our Doods and how crazy we can get about them, Soooooo, I'm suggesting that we start posting Christmas pictures of out Doods, lets see who can be the most creative/who's Doods will put up with the most.
Here is to have a Wonderful Holiday Season!
Anyone see this movie on the Hallmark Channel? It sure looks like a doodle that Santa gives the little boy at the end of the movie. And an adorable doodle at that!
Tonight was our third class. Gizmo is a hoot! We learned "settle down" tonight. I was amazed at how fast these pups learned it. None of them obeyed on command and needed a little reminder on what to do, but they did it and stayed down until they were "freed".
Again, Gizmo & Dozer (the St. Bernard) were best buddies during play time. When Dozer chased Gizmo, Gizmo would go through the Trainer's legs while she talked to us. Of course Dozer thought he needed to…Continue
I got a new GoldenDoodle so Gracie won't be alone.
She is a yr old and he is 10 weeks. I think he weighs about 11-12 pounds now.…Continue
Hi, Sadie arrived in our home one week today. She was born September 13, 2011. She is very loving, and full of energy. She loves the outdoors. Already signed up for puppy class starting in January. We can't wait to see how big she is going to get.
If any of you doodle lovers out there do have facebook, here is the link. Mary's Mom, Marni updates the page daily and posts videos of Mary. She's a brave little girl and mature well beyond a lot of grown ups dealing with the hand she's been given. SHE inspires ME!
My sweet little friend Mary, needs nothing but your encouragement!
Last month, 12 Year old Mary was diagnosed with Leukemia and is a doodle lover! A few days ago, a friend put a pic of her doodle (pic below). All I am asking is that doodle lovers unite to uplift Mary with the same pic of thier doodle(s)!
Join "Team Mary" on facebook and send in a pic of your doodle with a note of encouragment for this courageous little girl!
This is a repost of information from Phyllis (a doodle owner / foodbuglady blogger & expert in food recalls):

Happy Birthday to you, Happy birthday to you - Happy Birthday dear Pedro - Happy Birthday to you. 4 years old! Wow! You don't look a day over one! Loving paws and big hugs, Pemon.
Pedro, Mark & I wish you a very Happy Birthday and we can't wait to see the pictures from your party. You will have to tell all of us all about it! We love you Pedro.
Gizmo seems to have an attitude problem ... I think. I don't know .... maybe I'm over reacting, but I don't want to ignore this if it really is a problem. It seems to be a Poodle trait. When he's good, the Retriever really comes out.
Gizmo puppy bites ALL the time! He attacks from the back when we're sitting or standing, walking or standing still. Sometimes he bites really hard, other times he barely bites down. If we correct him in ANY way, he gets a wild look in his…Continue
We had our first puppy class last night. We missed the first week, but were able to get in the second. We were all signed up with one, but they cancelled because they didn't have enough puppies enrolled. So I scrambled and my second choice said we could join but they started last week. I didn't want to wait a few more weeks for another "maybe" class, so we joined this one.
There were five puppies in this class. I think Gizmo was the youngest at 3 1/2 months (almost). …Continue
Sweet, sweet puppy, and Maggie a darling. Her eyes and actions could be Izzi. Neither of mine 'stick like glue', more like a rubber bands. Bouncing back and forth making sure I'm still where they left me. I consider that an owner issue... as puppy's I want to know where they are within the house. On the other hand at a year I want them strong within the individual personalities. The whining would concern me more. She is showing signs of anxiety. Doggy day care often…Continue
Hello, some advise. We are moving to a new apartment and My two girls, bark a lot every time when they see other dogs or people walking by the house by the window. Why should I try?
We have a granddog, Mojo, who is a wonderful Daisy Dog. Mojo is 4 years old. When we got Gizmo three weeks ago, we introduced Mojo (4 years) to Gizmo (9 weeks). Mojo was dominant and very excited at that time. Poor Gizmo was still in shock from coming to a new home, etc.
A couple weeks later, we decided that Mojo and Gizmo needed to spend some doggie time together. We do "doggie daycare" often for Mojo and it's important that they get along. We brought Mojo over for the…Continue

Izzi and Charlie both seemed to be unusually itchy. No fleas, ticks or lice... I check them often because the run in an open field... Regardless, after bathing them with an oatmeal (dog) shampoo, I gave both a dose of Frontline on Tuesday of this week... Thursday overnight, Friday morning I found the Charlie had scratched himself raw, and bleeding... Vet said she believed he had a reaction to Frontline... I have never seen this happen... both he and Izzi have welts... …Continue
I'm so excited!!
Next week (November 17th) I will turn 4 years old. Well, young. I'm a puppy still you see? But I am so excited because Mommy said that maybe Uncle Mateo and Grandma and Grandpa will come over and we'll have pup cake and human cake and presents. Yipeee! I like getting toys and treats!!
Hmmm, I hope Mommy doesn't get the funny birthday hats again though. I don't like how they…Continue
I had decided about a week or two ago that Gizmo needed "time-outs" when he gets out of control with biting and not listening to NO. So when he acted up, I picked him up (he was still small enough to do that) and told him "You're going to get a TIME-OUT" in a very angry voice. I put him in his "condo" (the laundry room with a gate where he sleeps) and told him Time Out!
In a few minutes I let him out and pet him and love him up. He simply walks beside me to the living room…Continue
One of our Doods, Phinnian, is 5 yrs old now,and is unneutered. We decided to wait because we thought we would stud him out... I am a novice when it comes to this subject, and I was hoping to get some opinions for, or against...
