Charm of the morning, rain

it is raining in Grapevine...lovely easy rain that actually soaks into the grounds.  What is funny in this post is that at ten months of age neither Izzi or Charlie had ever seen rain or to stand in the shower  to do 'chores'...  They weren't even sure they wanted to go out the door.   Ears and tails drooping they finally followed me out the front door..    No sniffing around for the right spot this morning.. just business and in again.

This week I had the first case in history of raisin
toxicity ever seen at MedVet.  My patient was a 56-pound 5 yr old male neutered lab-mix that ate half-a-canister of raisins sometime between 7:30 AM and 4:30 PM on Tuesday.  He started with vomiting, diarrhea and shaking about 1 AM on Wednesday but the owner didn't call my emergency service until 7… Continue

Matted hair

Anyone have any suggestions/tips our doodle has wavy hair so it's fairly easy to maintain and brush. However, his face gets matted very easily all of the sudden especially under the chin and under the hair on the sides of his mouth. He doesn't like his face being brushed and it's even worse to detangle once it starts to mat.

Do you think Cheewbacca is a Goldendoodle?

Hello all, I want to present you Cheewbacca, our lovely puppy!
We adopted him on April, we took Cheewbacca in a dog pound when he was already 18 months old.
Nobody knows his past and where he was from. Do you think he is a Goldendoodle? In Italy there aren't many people who know this breed. I was reading a magazine and I saw a picture of a Goldendoodle and I was curious to know if my big friend is a Goldendoodle!…

Dog Parks

Just thought I would share something a friend posted to my face book page. As I know a few of you visit dog parks. There has been a rash of some sicko leaving  cheese chunks with nails in them at dogs parks. So PLEASE  those of you that use these parks be careful. There is always someone who ruins it for everyone else.

Looking for a "goldendoodle" puppy.

Hello I want to first thank everyone for all the information on this site. Its helped me with some questions I had and its great to see all the pictures.

As for my post- I have a female goldendoodle and I would like to get her a friend. We spend a lot of time together, but I think she could benefit from some puppy play time. I have a huge fenced yard and she loves it, but I think having a friend would make her love it more.  My puppy has a great life and I would like to…

Now this is weird !!

OK, everyone, either I'm a fraud or Ginger is hiding behind some cool outer clothing.

Remember the story...we got Ginger from the local SPCA.  They said she was an Otterhound/Sheepdog mix.  However, whenever we went walking, everyone commented on how nice a Labradoodle she was.  Then, our groomer said she looked like a Long Hair Wheaten Terrier.  After googleing everyone of those, and finding this website, I sent Ginger's pictures to Blue, and we kinda concluded that Ginger was more…
