My husband Mike and I started walking about three miles each morning with our doodle, Gordon. If you have a dog, you know that if you do something twice in a row, you're in a pattern. If you have a dog, don't start something with the dog if you don't plan on doing it for the rest of your life at exactly the same time of day and in exactly the same… Continue

Murphie likes to chase cats . . . but while out on our walk this weekend, she attempted to chase a black cat, and the cat arched its back (like a Halloween Cat) and turned around & chased HER. As is her custom when she's wary or frightened, Murphie beat feet away from that scary feline! Yikes! But she was curious, just the same, and kept looking back.

Does anyone know if a goldendoodle would be a good companion for a 4 year old boy with mild autism? If so, please send your answer to firstname.lastname@example.org. Thanks

Sometimres I can see Harry's third eyelid. It is red and occasionally the whites of his eyes are a little red also. I did some research online and there is a condition called "cherry eye", I don't believe Harry has this because its not swollen and does not protrude out of the lid. I honestly never noticed until I took him to his first groom, once the hair between his eyes where shaved I see it often. He doesn't try to itch them and there is no discharge or oozing. Just wondering if this is… Continue

"Through a Dog's Eyes", by Jennifer Arnold (who raises dogs to be canine companions). This is a wonderful book that helped me better understand my own dog. Dogs should always be treated with kindness and respect, according to the author. http://www.amazon.com/Through-Dogs-Eyes-Jennifer-Arnold/dp/1400068886
