It's been awhile since I've logged in here, but I'm hopeful someone may have some words of wisdom. We have learned that our oldest dog Maggie, has bone cancer. We see an oncologist tomorrow but I had wondered if any other owners here had any experience with this and if so, any advice? Thanks doodle friends.
Although it's not Doodles, it is about dogs. Very Funny!
Paddy visited vet on Monday. After being neutered, within one day, he was next to impossible to keep calm & still. He just has way toooo much energy. Tore open his incision from all his jumping around. Fortunately, not infected, but not healed so he is now glued together (or was yesterday!!!) and wearing the e-collar from time to time. He thinks he's in jail when he has that on.
.... Love, Love, Love my dogs.. returning after three weeks I was greeted with clam, happy to see me, well cared for puppies... (two years of age). Within two hours we were all in the same bed and slept for the next 10 hours.
Husband and I had coffee with them the following morning.. They were delighted to have us in the same room together, sharing the ball play, and napping while we talked.
I enjoyed my time with Grandkids, but I tell ya, I was happy not to have a…Continue

Okay everyone, we will be buying some new living room furniture for the new house. Looking for input about what style/fabrics etc. holds up best to big dogs and a cat. Any ideas?
Added some more recent pictures of Paddy...check out "My Page." I didn't know how to add them to my recent blog post of Sept. 21st, and couldn't take time to try to figure it out. It took me forever just to add the photos and captions.
Awhile back, someone asked for some summer reading and I suggested a Spencer Quinn book about a dog and his adventures. Well, Chet is back with a new book and I thought I'd reaffirm how great these books are. We all appreciate Pedro's romps with Alessandra...these are kinda the same, the world as viewed from a dog.
Chet is a huge, 100 pound mutt who was rescued from a pound by the police. He went through K-9 training, but flunked out on the last day. He wound…Continue
Thank you for all of the advice we received concerning full coat grooming! So nice to have input from you all! I think Sophie's groom looks great! Have a great weekend! …Continue
Buddy is still misbehaving when we leave him alone in the house. He takes things and puts them in his bed and chews them up example: magazines, plastic things and last week a box of dominos with the box chewed and the dominos strewn around and two plastic glasses shattered. He is fine when we are home, so I am thinking separation anxiety. He loves to go with us in the car, but of course that is not always possible. I think he suspects we always go to the park to walk and wants to be…Continue
Hey everyone there was a Power Ball winner last night. $400 million. The winner was in South Carolina. I want to know if Laurie, Ernie and the three musketeers are keeping something from us. Has anyone heard from Laurie today? Now remember Laurie you have to throw the Doodle Palooza!
Mark & I got two numbers and the Power Ball. Oh well, too bad.
Thank you for your help. I will post pics of Lexi as soon as we get her.
Hi there, I just wandered if anyone out there owns a doodle whose mum is a retriever and dad is a goldendoodle. I have reserved a three week old pup and would love to know how she will look when she is older. Thanks
This was forwarded to me from a friend. I haven't checked out the source, but I thought I'd pass it on anyway. Has anyone else heard of this ... or is it a hoax/fake?

Oh my Gosh - where have I been. My Brandi is 6 months and it's been forever since I have posted anything. I do go on the site - as I feel so connected and informed by everyone here.
So let me begin by saying, we
completed puppy class. It made such a difference in Brandi's behavior....or maybe a difference in our behavior.

We haven't seen our grandkids much this summer and FINALLY they came over and even spent the night. Cole is Gizmo's buddy and is 11 years old. Paige is Gizmo's playmate and is 8 years old.
They all played outside till Gizmo just couldn't walk anymore. He came in and layed on the floor and panted. He had so much fun! When it was time for bed, the kids slept in the other bedroom and Gizmo wanted up with them. So, I helped him up and he planted himself 3/4 of the way on…Continue
