Eli checking in

It's me Eli, just checking in. We been havin' a really busy summer and lots of fun. A couple of weeks ago we went to our camp in Maine and had a really awesome time and lots of adventures. Me and Chesney went swimming and hiking but little Biscuit mostly sat on the porch swing with a book. Actually it was Mom who had the book but he pretends. The rest of our summer has been spent on the porch at home just trying to beat the hot weather and being lazy. Hope everyone is having a great…

Hi everyone! Happy Friday! So I'd like anyone's input on how much their doodle weighed at 5 months old. Emmy girl weighs 24.5. Is this what she should be weighing by this point? Or more? She will be a medium sized doodle according to the breeder.

Albi Update! + I NEED ADVICE!!

Can't believe its been only a month since I've taken Albi home! Honestly, it feels like I've had him for MUCH longer.

I cannot express how sweet, rambunctious and SMART this dog is!

I will have to figure out how to attach videos to show off all of his tricks!

At just 11 weeks old, Albi can- Sit, Stay, Come, Lay down, Roll over, Spin and Jump up!

All the tricks so far have taken me just MINUTES to teach him - I am amazed!

Here are some adventures we've…

Gentle leader

Raven is 7 months and 52 pounds. She is not such a good walker and pulls so we got the gentle leader. She doesn't really like it but she does walk better and seems better behaved, less jumping and nipping, my question you keep it on all the time or remove it???

Wet whiskers!

How do you clean off all the gunk that gets stuck in a doodles whiskers. Fozzy is always drinking and panting, and chewing on everything he can find! I filled up his baby pool and made him stick his nose in the water diving for ice cubes and toys, and that worked for a while. A wet wash cloth just doesn't clean off his snoot enough. If I had a white dog I would really be in trouble!

Advice Needed!

Hope everyone had a great Fourth of July weekend! Our doodle girl Emmy didn't get to experience the excitement; her mom and dad were too tired from the weekend and we all went to bed early. :)

So I need some advice- our Emmy girl woke up at 3am early Tuesday morning and threw up a golfball size vomit, I could tell it was just bile and it had no food particles. She was perfectly fine the rest of the night and all day yesterday. Then it happened again around the exact same time earlier this… Continue

Thunderstorm/Firework stress

Oh doodle cousins,am I the only doodle that gets stressed out during thunderstorms and fireworks? It is so awful. The other night I was up all night because of the thunder and lightning. Dad was up with me. I was panting and panting. I am always so brave. I am always ready to go anywhere and nothing scares me. But as I am getting older, thunder and fireworks really take a toll on me. I was so stressed out from the storm that the next day I had the poops and there was even bright red blood in…

Daisy Mae Wigglebutt and Mischievous Motley Rose

Thanks so much for your helpful comments on house breaking my 13 month rescue Daisy Mae.  She is doing much better, day 3 with no accidents in the house.  I have been taking a treat bag with me so reward her when she goes.  I also reward Motley Rose just to reinforce the point I am making.  Was very pleased to see the poop was looking like poop and not chocolate dairy cream.  However, she has gone twice since then and it was back to the pudding.  She is on 100% Salmon and sweet potato now.…
