Hi Doodle friends
Looking for your opinions. I think Spencer has finally done it. Super counter surfer and snitch extraordinaire must have swallowed something that doesn't go through easily. Since this morning, he has been trying to poop with no results. He isn't particularly distressed, laid on the floor all through dinner quite peacefully. Surfed before dinner as always to see what was on the counter. Only unusual behaviour was barking when I came home from work to let me know he…Continue
Hi everyone -
New dog owner to Lionel, a 4 1/2 month old f1b mini golden doodle. He is so special and we love the addition he has made to our family. We've noticed he has a nice accumulation of crust around his eyes and short of keeping hair in that area trimmed, we are struggling to keep the eye boogers (no else way to describe it I guess) cleaned out.

Me and Chesney just got back from the kennel again. Mommy's Mommy died last week and everyone was very sad but happy for her very long life of almost 91 years. Mike the kennel guy told us not to worry that everything would be okay and he was right. Mommy is smiling and happy to be home and we are happy to see her. It is also Spring spring spring! There are peepers and birds, and flowers and even flutterbys. We are having so much fun sitting by the screen door watching everything just be…Continue
I understand that cutting the Doods hair too short could be an issue for sunburn at a young age.
Does anyone have any recommendation for what age to cut the doods hair shorter. Susie has super fine hair, which we brush daily, but with summer season coming and our rural area that she will frolic, we would like to groom her shorter. Any suggestions ?
