Ok-so i've been trying to work with louie and it's not going so well. He thinks everything is a game...i go to get his lease ( and he looooves being outside) but as soon as i get the lease he takes off running and plays dead. He won't budge once i have him ready to go. Also he doesn't like treats so i haven't been able to get him to sit, lay down, come, or anything on command because he couldn't care less about getting a treat. Basically he is just really stubborn! Any good advice??? I…Continue
Don't know why all of us got the same messages from her, but suspect it is spam.
I reported it to the web master and suggest that more of us do so.
What do you think?
Sorry everybody. I wanted to put just the latest 3 pictures of Ginger on the Photo page, but somehow, it loaded ALL my pictures. NOT MY FAULT ! It's Bill Gates fault !
I'm sure that took up alot of space, and I apologize.
My doodle Phoenix started out with a black nose. However, it has slowly turned a dark brown, still with some black. A elderly dog expert told me the change in color is from drinking from metal bowls and to stop this I should use ceramic bowls.
Has anyone heard this theory or is it simply genetics. have your dogs noses lost their black?
Farley's home again!
What a great vet I have! He went to the clinic to feed Farley @ 1 am and later in the day took him for a couple of walks to check for progress. All the blood tests showed many things he DOESN'T have - which is a good thing to know. And by next weekend Farley should be finished his aquatherapy for his cruceate surgery rehab.
I'm really hoping to stay away from all vets for a L O N G time! Cross your fingers!
Farley and I were invited to my son's house 100 kms away for Mothers' Day where we overnighted. The next day I drove my daughter-in-law and grandson 100kms to Toronto (in the opposite direction) to catch a flight to London & Paris. LUCKY DUCKS!!!!!! So when we were passing through my town, I dropped off Farley and asked my Farley-loving neighbours to look after him. Well that was Monday and shortly after, all hell broke loose with his digestive system. He would keep food down for 12…Continue
My 6 month old puppy was just diagnosed with megaesophugus which is a dialated esophugus I was wondering if this is common in goldendoodles and if anyone has any advice as to how to help my puppy Im doing all the vet said to do but she still suffers after she eats. Any advice would be appreciated
I just posted some new pictures of Pemon with his latest hair cut. It was done a week ago and I swear it has grown already. Had him at the Vets today and are you ready? He's weighing in at 93 lbs. As you can see by the pictures he is far from fat.
The other pictures he is having a catch with Mark, which we end up doing two to three times a day. He just loves it!
O.K. I have a questions for anyone that can give me some advice about allergies. Does anyone…Continue
Her name is "KURUMI". I am the dog which bred.
Other ten or more dog species were participating.
She extracted other dog species and won the victory. It is a wonderful inspiring feat!!
I am getting my dog Louie groomed for the very first time (he is 8months) tomorrow and i'm really nervous. I love his long fluffy hair, but I'm thinking the summer will be way too hot for him. Does everyone typically groom short for the summer??? Also, I just got him two months ago and he loves being brushed, but there were already mats in his hair so he has to be shaved!!! I'm so sad. What kind of brush is good to use for these dogs? I am going to start over with his hair and keep him…Continue
I have a 8 week old Goldendoodle called "Millie". I took her to the vets yesterday for her first inoculaton. I was discussing a few matters with my Vet - the most important being how much exercise she should have as puppy. (I believe G.D's can get hip dyplasia) I read that you should not exercise a G.D. too much as there bones are soft etc etc. My Vet said to me that that was not the case and exercise was good for them as the more…Continue
