The association which trains the dog which supports hearing loss

At the excellent Japanese university "University of Tokyo", the famous professor (Tsukuba technical university former Principal) who is inquiring about hearing loss became an owner of goldendoodle in which I did bleeding.
My best friend is hearing loss and is living an inconvenient life.
She is a breeder of the show dog of a poodle and is a very highly-skilled groomer.

I know how hearing loss is inconvenient.

She says.

A dog is required for me.

Jorja: Look out folks, we have a live one here!

So it’s been more than a week since we brought Sweet Jorja Brown home to our house and to her older sister Gracie (1.5 yrs) and, I’ve wanted to send a report to this site after each silly thing that has happened, but...I haven’t had time! J   Go figure.

Jorja is a rocket.  A little live wire.  A bundle of joyous fluff and vinegar!

This brown pup is saucy and energetic.  She is totally self confident and has mastered all of our stairs starting on day one.  She is very sure of…

Looking for a Miniature Golden Doodle

Hi,

Just joined this page in hoping it will lead to a new addition to our family, after losing our 2 dogs 2 and 3 years ago due to old age and cancer we are ready to add to our family once again.  It has taken a long time to finally be able to make the decision to have another pet and we have a young family that is eager to play and plenty of room we have 5 acres and a dam and we are about 7 minutes drive to the beach.  So if any one knows of any litter in Australia and has a female…

Robo-Cat

Have a cat loving friend, but her husband doesn't really like them.  So, for her birthday, I found a "Robo-Cat" and we presented it to her at her party at our house.  The cat looks quite real, but the best thing is that it has micro-motion-sensors on its body.  Therefore, when anyone comes near, it meows, or it raises its foot and scratches its face.  If petted on the head, it will roll backwards and purrr....

I say all this, because Ginger just LOVED this thing.  She sat…

Getting a new baby in August

Hi Everyone:

Just joined this site.  I am expecting to get my new baby sometime in August.  I am #3 on the breeders list and I am hoping for a girl.  My sister got her Goldendoodle from the same breeder last August as she only breeds her 3 females once a year.  Well my sister's male doodle Riley is just beautiful and so funny.  He is about 10 months old and 75 lbs.  I am hoping to get a smaller female. lol  I have a 12 year old Lhasa Apso named Spike and 2 ragdoll cats who…

Farley's physio after ACL surgery

Farley and I just got back from his first physio session which went very well.  He stayed on the underwater treadmill for 7 mins and had a pretty normal gait in the water, considering he had surgery just 11 days ago.  It's a good thing I'm retired because this physio stuff is very time consuming!  Now we add 3 leg stands and sideways nudging to encourage weight bearing, and hill climbing and figure 8's in the driveway to build up the atrophied muscles.  Stay tuned ...

off leash and beach?

We have a 3 and a half month old goldendoodle.. I haven't tried anything with him off the leash because he seems to just want to get to every and any person/dog he sees and so I'm afraid if I take him off the leash then he'll just take off and I won't be able to get him to come back because he just focuses on who he sees and wants to get to. Any advice?

Also, I'm dying to go to the beach but I'm not sure if its okay to take him. He's still young so I'm not sure about that. At…

I'm posting my experience in hope of helping other doodle owners avoid going through the same thing.  My healthy, rambunctious 2 yr old doodle's favourite activity was ball retrieving and swimming in the lake; we did this almost daily.  To use a Canadian metaphor, he went full tilt and then slammed on the brakes like Sydney Crosby.  One day (Dec 29) when chasing the ball, he wimpered, went down and couldn't get up.  The diagnosis: a ruptured cruceate ligament.  The surgery required to fix…

Jumping

Before I even had Cal a couple months I ran in to a couple that talked about their Golden that liked to "jump."  I guess I should have known that cal was going to be the same when he was this shy quiet withdrawn puppy and the minute he walked in my house he acted like it was home.  Anyways,  Cal tends to jump on you when you walk in the door.  Not always forceful, kind of bouncy.  But because he is so long he jumps up and his paws are on my chest.  I can handle and he gets down after I set…

I'm baaack!

Wow... I mean, woof! It's been a while. I know Mommy is busy and that's why she's only back at typing my thoughts until now. It's been like forever and since my last post I got a haircut and I am all fluffy and Mommy says that I'm really handsome, then she's quick to add that I'm always handsome, but this time I really look much handsomer than before, plus the lady groomer trimmed the hair around my eyes so I look at Mommy and Daddy with my big eyes and especially Mommy melts and Daddy too,… Continue

Grooming

Mia is 2 1/2 yrs old. Her hair is so fine that she matts up very quickly. I brush her (which she doesn't like) every other day and still matts. She loves to swim and that doesn't help matters. I don't want to keep her hair real short. Any suggestions?

Doodles and doo doo

My 5 month old has this habit of eating poop from the backyard. I clean it up on a regular basis although some I just miss because I don't see it. I have gone online to see if there are any tricks to stopping him, but thought I would get it right from the source. Does anyone have an idea of why and how to stop him from eating it. (He eats regularly, so don't worry about that)

Coat Changes

My Mia is 16 weeks old and has started loosing her puppy fluff; she has started to look a bit scruffy.  Her shedding pattern looks very funny with it all coming out at the front first.  I was wondering, has anyone else experienced a shedding pattern like this - I wasn't sure if it is normal.  The vet didn't seem concerned and she seems happy enough !!!  I have posted some photos on my page.
