Blue, our family needs to send you a huge thank you as you introduced us to Lovina's farm back in 2001, and it was there that we got our beautiful golden doodle puppy, Pepper. She was born December 25, 2001 and is over 15 years old. She is a gorgeous black doodle with fur as soft as a lamb and she is the gentlest and sweetest soul on the planet. She still prances when she walks (although her back legs have started to give her trouble), and people can't believe it when we tell them she's…Continue
Once again, I've been gone from here for too long. I need to do some catching up, but I wanted to take a quick minute to share an upcoming event that we are attending. It's called Doodles in Dewey. It's an annual event held at Dewey Beach, Delaware. Hundreds of doodles and their humans attend. We have been wanting to go for several years, and now that we are retired, we can!! Anyone else live close enough??

My mini golden doodle Rey is going to be 4 months old on the 28th of March. Her weight is 11.4 lbs. Vet said I can start to cut out the lunch time meal.
Question for those of you with mini's and have cut to 2 meals a day. How much do you feed your dog now that you cut out the mid day meal? Have you stayed the same portions? Have to take Cooper to the vet - his right eye has a white discharge. He was taking sticks out of the pile as my husband was trimming bushes, so he may have poked himself...it doesn't seem to bother him too much. ugh. :-( I've just been wiping around the eye with warm water...

We just took Cooper on an 8 hour trip down to Ohio to visit our son and our two granddogs. Cooper was great during the long ride, unfortunately, during our stay, he continued to "hump" the younger dog (Both are neutered). He did this when they visited us, as well. We just can't break him of that. Any suggestions?
My sweet Dulcie is at the vet's with some kind of stomach blockage. Please send thoughts, prayers, whatever you can muster or prefer, for my baby!
