I recently had to put my standard goldendoodle, Murfee, up for adoption due to his size. He was to be 50# but was 80# by 10 months old. I bought a minigoldendoodle, Milo, in November so Murfee would have a playmate. They were the best. We had so much fun, walking the metropark path everyday.
Unfortunately, because Murfee was 30# over the limit my apartment allows, I was forced to put him up for adoption. (Or move, which was impossible). I couldn't seperate them, they were too attached. So,… Continue

I am looking to get another goldendoodle for myself I have researched about 10 different breeders and what I have found is that everyone is selling f1b doodles for the same price of a f1doodle .I am looking for a F1 doodle which means parents are standard poodle, golden retriever. Can someone explain to me why they would be same price.Purchased my goldendoodle for 450.00 and had him since he was 5weeks old.

Our little pup is very into the chewing and often perfers out hands..or legs or feet instead of his toys! lol...I know this is a normal part of the puppy stage while he's teething but hoping we can get the chewing to be his toys and thats it!
We've tried the sharp "no", yelping then ignoring him, and are just now starting to use the spray bottle but he seems to enjoy the water! haha
Thanks in advance!!

Hello, I was wondering what everyone washes their pup with? How frequently are you bathing them?

This summer I will be driving to the Maritimes and going through the US - Boston, Maine etc - with our new goldendoodle. He will be 6 1/2 months at the time. My question is, what paperwork will I need? Will he have had a rabies vaccination as part of the regular vaccine schedule then? (I won't go that way if he has to have an unnecessary shot). I would appreciate any advice that anyone has to give!! Thanks!

My granddog, Sanka, is a goldendoodle. He has a problem that causes him to wet on his front legs. He has not been neutered yet. He is not successful at lifting his leg or squating. It is very frustrating to his family. He is a little over a year old with no other problems. Any suggestions for behavioral training, grooming or medical advice? Thanks!

From my internet research, it seems that hip dysplasia is a real medical concern for doods. I've also heard that if a male dog (especially the larger breeds) is neutered later in life this helps to minimize the chance of dysplasia. Anybody else heard of this? Already have the appt to get him snipped, but wondering if I should postpone.

I think I know the aswer to that from you guys. I live on the South Coast of the UK with my two daughters ages 7 and `12 we just lost our Golden Retriever and we are in the process of getting a lovely new pup, we love the retriever but 'stumbled' across the breed GoldenDoodle on the net, after some research I found a bitch available nearby, we have seen photos and she looks lovely. So far I have not shown the pics to my girls as I know they will fall in love with the pup. First I… Continue

Hello, my name is Melissa. I just brought our new 9 week old male puppy home last night. He had been sleeping a lot until it was time for bed than he started crying when I placed him in the crate. I felt so bad. It lasted @ 1 1/2 hours on and off. Just wondering how long that takes to stop? I was also wondering how many crate trained their pups, and how successful and any tips would be great! He has been here since 7 pm last night and he has not eaten yet either. He has drank. I guess he is… Continue

Hello, I just join the goldendooles.com community as a member, but actually, I am not yet become a goldendoodle owner because I am still finding a way to know how to buy one. I lived in Hong Kong and apparently there is no goldendoodles breeder can be found in Hong Kong because this is not common in Hong Kong. But I really want to have one and search from the recommended breeder and found out that most of them refused to delivery to Hong Kong. This really makes me feel disappointed but… Continue
