I just adopted a Goldendoodle who we have named Hercules from our local pound, I have been wanting one since I first seen the breed in 2005 and couldn't pass up the chance to have my beautiful boy.

After four hours of grooming he is now very pretty but seems to be bald...what is everyones favorite style/cut for the doodle...he also seems to be having an itching problem and is chewing at himself which is causing sores on himself...We have always…

10 mo biting my other dog

Hello,

I have three rescues: goldendoodle (10 months, spayed & has megaesophagus); labradoodle (4 1/2years, neutered); cocker spaniel (9 years, spayed).

My labradoodle loves to fetch, the goldendoodle doesn't - however she chases and bites my labradoodle all over his body, where ever she can get hold - soaking him and has had him whelp. I have made loud shrill sounds, said stop, redirected her... to no avail. To say the least she is very…

does your dood prance ?

I've meant to blog this before, but keep forgetting. (no comments about old age, please !!)  When I take Ginger out for walks, and she wants to walk fast...she doesn't run, she sort of prances, just like a trotter horse pulling those carriage things.  Feet are always touching the ground before the next one is lifted.  I've never seen a dog do this before...looks exactly like a trotter horse.   'Course, when she runs, she RUNS !  I wonder if this is a trait of the breed or is Ginger just weird ?

Tangles and Mats?

I really need some help.  I have a year old Goldendoodle, Finley.  He is the greatest dog ever!  We are having a problem with his hair and matting.  I brush him daily and he is goes to the groomer either every Saturday or every other Saturday.  It has gotten so bad that I had to have him shaved today.  He looks so funny, like a miniature clydesdale horse....(they left the hair on his feet).  We are starting from scratch now so I would like to prevent this from happening again.  Any suggestions?… Continue

Hyper-Active?

Hello!  HELP!!!  I'm new and need some help with our Goldendoodle.  She's 16 weeks old and EXTREMELY hyper and has been difficult to train.  We are experienced dog owners and have never had such a hard time potty-training or with basic obedience.

She gets two 30 minute vigorous walks a day and that hasn't seemed to affect her energy level.  We are having a hard time with her mouthing us and our daughter, chewing, and she does not seem to have much desire to pay attention to…

carsickness golden Doodles

I am asking me periodically to the owner of the puppy which bred.

It is 1 time in three months.

Or is an owner's house telephoned once in six months, and in what kind of state is a

puppy A question is asked.

Health and character are asked and an owner's puppy-rearing tiredness is followed up.

The question about carsickness is frequently received from the owner of the puppy in which I bred.

In the stage where the goldendoodle is bred, the performance of the…
