I have a 12 month old Goldendoodle, and I have found hairballs in his crate in the morning. It is very similar to a cat hairball...and we have found them on three different occasions so it's not something he ate. I haven't heard him hacking or coughing during the day, and I groom him and keep him very clean. I didn't know dogs get hairballs! Hopefully this will get better when he gets his adult coat.

We do still have one english male F1 pup, with a thick fluffy almost white coat, and from another litter still a few male F1bs.
You can view the F1bs on our live webcam http://dchurch.camstreams.com, and of course there are still pics on our website at http://www.millponddoodles.com.

I am thinking about adding a doggie door? Any suggestions on what kind and where to get a good one? Also I am curious if other rodents could enter through them? I have not researched anything on them, just curious what others have to say about them...

So life has been really wonderful with my new family. I am 20 weeks old now and I always
seem to be having a new adventure and meeting new people and sometimes other doggie friends.
Today we went to the new nature preserve trails by my home and it was really neat...i found a new stick
which was fun! Lots of new smells and it was such a pretty day outside for a walk. I enjoyed playing in the snow last week! It was so much fun to frolic in the snow with my human brothers...they are… Continue

I am new to this goldendoodle thing. We have had 3 golden retrievers and our 7 yr old died very unexpectedly last August. I love the way they look, they are so floppy and seem so fun and sweet. So we got Piper, a black goldendoodle in December. She was so tiny, her mom had 11 pups so needless to say she was a little thing. I have no idea what to expect with her size, she is now 15 weeks and weighs 19 lbs. She is so great, my two goldens have basically been nannies to her. They have shown her… Continue

Oh, my.... The snow. We had to dig a path so Gidget could get outside and do her business. She enjoyed it, though. Check out some of the pics I posted below. She comes in covered in snowballs all in her fur. WHat a mess! :)

I am not sure how this forum works, but I wanted to stop by and say how much we are in love with out new Comfort Doodle from Timshell Farm.
They are wonderful!!!!!! Our puppy is amazing! So smart, so loveable and well behaved!! He has been home 4 days, No accidents in the house. He is doing excellent with his crate. Settles down quick. I have him on a good schedule and I think it works for him. He seems so happy and calm with his new surroundings.
I feel like I have the perfect pup!

Zeke is a first generation - his mom was a large golden retriever and his dad a white standard poodle. I have clipped his hair to about 1 1/2 inches long making it much easier to deal with. I did it myself since the groomers around here were quoting around $100!!!! In some areas, especially the back of his legs, I had to go shorter to get the mats out, but he looks much better and while it might not be perfectly even in all spots, with his curls its hard to tell. I will be keeping him cut short… Continue
