On Friday she had her second grooming. I handed the groomer a written detail of what I wanted done and stood there while she read it. When I picked her up I wanted to cry. She was cut down everywhere but her ears and part of her tail to 1/4 of an inch. My paper said " Please do not cut her ears, beard, mustache or from the base of her tail down. The groomer said I stood there after she read it and told her to cut her all over to an inch. She also has big bare spots behind her ears and…Continue

With loving paws,
Beau is a 5 month old goldendoodle we adopted knowing that he had a permanent head tilt, which the breeder believed the dog mom stepped on him and caused the head tilt. After many vet visits and being put on prednisone, the head tilt has decreased in severity. Even though his head tilt is getting better, his neurologist still think its critical that he gets a brain MRI to determine if it is indeed from trauma or if it is a congenital disorder. We all know how expensive the vet is, especially…Continue
Hello Doodle friends. Eli and I are back. We've been really busy but we missed you! This is my granddaughter, Addie. She spent a few days with us last week and had a great time with Eli. Sweet pair. Addie just turned 4. Time flies.…Continue
I finally listened to hubby and put a gentle leader on Bella. Wow! What a difference walking is now. She walks beside me, no pulling and no stopping. I am 7th heaven and can now enjoy our walks and take more then one a day. I would tell everyone to start their puppy on a gentle leader because the difference in walking Bella is amazing.

Is there something wrong with the photo contest? I wasn't able to vote and looks like nobody else can either."
I am pretty new to the goldendoodle community and am looking for some help and guidance. I’ve been looking to get a dog for a while now and had the chance to watch my friend’s goldendoodle this past weekend and fell in love with him. I was looking at getting one about 6 months to 3 years old but have no idea where to look. I also thought about getting a puppy but my landlord won't allow it. He wants the dog to be…Continue

Our new baby will be coming home next week. Any suggestions or helpful tips we should follow right away? We do plan on crate training and having him sleep in his crate, in our room. Any certain products, toys, must have gadgets?
My name is Herschel! My humans chose my name because they are die hard Georgia fans and loved Herschel Walker. I am an F1b standard Golden doodle.
I am scared of the broom, vacuums. I love swimming and running with my momma. I live in Naples and would love to meet some other Golden doodles near me!
Looking for suggestions on no pull harnesses. Our goldendoodle is nine months old. Having trouble with pulling when out for walks.
Please share all your stories, trials and success... That is the way the community expands... and you make close internet friends...
One thing I can share with those of us who have the older GoldenDoddle is how to keep those teeth young and healthy... I purchase knuckle bones by the box load. I started giving these to Izzi about 2.5 years of age.. Last vet check up, she made a comment about her beautiful healthy teeth... Izzi will be 8 this coming fall. Remember also the…Continue
Hello, I am new to the community and very anxious to pick up my new fur baby, Remi, next week. Wondering if those of you who have raised Goldendoodles have any advice on potty training, what toys are best for them, do's and don't, or anything I should know in advance with this breed. We raised Bichons for awhile, and have had yorkies, but this is my first Goldendoodle. Any advice would be very appreciated.
