Our Sadie is 1 year and 4 months old. We are still feeding her Blue Wilderness puppy food. The store where we buy her food said they recommended feeding her the puppy blend until she is 2. I wanted to check here with the experts in doodleland to get your opinion as to if I should continue feeding her this until she is 2, or begin the transition to adult food now.
Puppy Xray I'm unable to drag the photo into this blog (link below) published only the article:
Look at how far the bones have to grow before they become a proper bony joint! This is why you should never let puppies jump, walk up/down stairs, over exercise or over train. Doing to much impact activity at a young age will cause serious issues later in life, or even at a young age as hip dysplasia and other orthopaedic conditions are rising in puppies!…Continue

DON'T DO THIS..
LOCAL NEWS BROADCAST CARRIED A SEGENMENT ABOUT A FAMILY WHO BOUGHT OUT OF STATE, SIGHT UNSEEN, SHIPPED THEN NOT YET SHIPPED AND BREEDER THEN WANTED AN ADITIONAL 300 $$$. BOTTOM LINE IS FAMILY IS OUT 600... REPUTABLE BREEDERS DON'T DO BUSSINESS THIS WAY..
Can anyone explain how the classifications work for goldendoodles (i.e. FB, FB1, etc.....)? I believe the stud for our new pup was a doodle (however, do not know its classification) and the bitch a std poodle. Any explanation is greatly appreciated. Joe
Here is Maya at 8 weeks. Her coat seems to be getting fuller / longer but her face looks all retriever. Anyone have a doodle that looked similar as a puppy? Any ideas on what she will look like when she's older?
Our pup, an Aussiedoodle, turned five months old yesterday. He has been a handful. We love him dearly and have him enrolled in a foundations/manners class in Wilmington. He has also had some one-on-one personal training. I pray he responds well. We’re retired and he is very high energy. Bleu is both beautiful and loving. He has definitely won our hearts. Thank you for allowing our family to be part of your community.
God bless all of you,
Although I try to check in every once in a while, I have to apologize for not being on this beautiful Community as often as I would like to. This was our first Goldendoodle "online" home and family and in our hearts, you guys are always # 1.
Over the last year or so, especially the last 6 months, Pedro has definitely slowed down quite a bit. Recently, our Vet informed us that Pedro has "Degenerative Myelopathy" which at a neurological level affects the function of his hind legs. He…Continue
It's been waaaay too long since I've posted in this community, and I apologize for that. I have thought of you all, but just haven't had the energy to touch base. We've been on quite a roller coaster for over 6 months now. Gracie is GREAT! She just turned 8 and you would think she just turned 2. She is healthy and happy and full of life and love and energy. Quinn... well, Quinn can't seem to catch a break. In the spring, he was diagnosed with immune-mediated thrombocytopenia (ITP) and we…Continue
She wrote letters to some peoples (like Daddy) that have had an impact on her life and this is what she wrote me!... I think she loves me so much... and I love her soooo much!

Sweet Baby Pedro,
It’s not only people that have influenced me in my almost 50 years, it’s been every puppy that I have ever met and spent time with. You, of course, being my baby boy, even more.
You have filled my life with pure,…Continue
Some of you may be like me, having to pick up after your dog as soon as they, ahem, poop.
I started out with the bags sold specifically for this purpose. I found I had a problem with them being so narrow, that I had trouble picking up the poop (my hands are too big?!?). I also objected to the price.
Here's the bags I buy - the 7 x 12":…
