Joyce Ann Preble Charging

Hi Again I'm back for some more advice-I had the male puppy that kept puppy biting my boxer and me. Well she finally put him in his place. Now my problem----he likes to charge at me-barking and nipping at my clothes, my fingers or anything he can grab. He came up behind me and grad my pant leg but bit me instead. My 19 yr old Granddaughter came to visit this week-end and got her cornered on our deck barking and nipping at her, scared her. I had to go out and grab him. She can't walk out of a roo… Continue

giggles searching for a goldendoodle

hey.. does any of you have a reputable breeder to recommend. I'm from vancouver bc. There are breeders that are on the island. Their price ranges from 1600- 2000. It sounds very expensive and I don't know if they are really that good. There are no guarantees. I looked up some local breeders and some of them are sketchy. I just got an email from one and she said I asked her too many self-explanatory questions. How is it self-explanatory ? ...when I want to know if there is health guarantee and co… Continue

giggles mini or medium ?

I want to get a medium sized goldendoodle. I love to run outdoors and I want one to accompany me. So i thought medium sized would be better. Also, I've also had this thinking that medium or large dogs are calmer than small dogs. So now im trying to convince my bf that medium is better than a mini. He is slightly shy /nervous with big dogs. So he wants a small one that he can easily pick up and cuddle with. you can do the same with mediums.. so i need some help with the convincing.. thanks :) Continue

Molly Growling Help.....

I am writing today to ask about a new development with Molly and wanted to see if you have had any experience with this. Molly is very unsure of new people. So much that at times she growls. This seems to happen more with men than women but it also has happened with some of our kids friends. Today we had a women that will be caring for her while we are out of town for Christmas take care of her. Apparently she bit a male family member. Molly does well at her obedience classes and has not growled… Continue

Jim and Connie Spencer Zoey! A new addition to our family!

Zoey was given to us after a very unfortunate event on our tenth wedding anniversary. Our five year old silver standard poodle developed "bloat" about 11:30 pm died in the emergency room of a vet in Anderson, SC. We were going to take Sadie up to see our Grandkids in Minnesota the next day. We were devastated. I was never more attached to a pet than I was to Sadie. My wife's business manager was trying to find a place for a second goldendoodle that, because of circumstances, was not receiving t… Continue

Carmen Booz Betsy goes to an Auction!!

Betsy went to her first auction yesterday, outside, crowds of people, and speakers. Who would have ever thought that shy little Betsy would be able to do this, but she walked right into the crowd like the Queen she is and allowed a select few to pet her head - maximum 3 strokes. Not one bark. Some goofball explained to us that we didn't know what we had, but she was a Navajo sheep dog, brought by the Government to the Navajo Indians from the Basque part of Spain to herd sheep. He said those typ… Continue

Carmen Booz Betsy's latest vacation -

Last weekend we went to Smith Center in Betsy's travel home - otherwise known as my Honda Element. We picked up Betsy's great-niece, Hope and my sister Teri on the way and spent the weekend landscaping. This was a great time for Betsy and Hope, a fenced back yard, long walks with Lyndon, running free romps on the front lawn and sometimes in the neighbor's lawn when they could escape, and a lot of games of chase! These mini-vacations are the best!! Continue
