Training any dog can be fun, rewarding (for both the Doodle and the owner) and yet can also be quite a challenge. It is my belief, thus far, that a Doodles temperament and their extremely high intelligence that makes them fun and challenging at times. Our last golden we could probably make a whole new dog every week with the shed hair lol.  Hoping Bo will be a bit less, but no biggie we love him anyway and right now he doesn't seem to be bothing my daughters allergies at all which is a plus.  With Bo right now it seems he changes on a weekly basis.  He still has the puppy hair on his head, smoother hair on his sides, slight feathering on his legs, and is starting to get quite hairy feet.  He also is getting longer wavy hair along his back, the end of his tail, and his chest.  Some days he really looks quite funny since he will get a patch of hsir that justs sticks out lol.  Doyou have any pictures of Ginger when she was a puppy?  I also have been struggling to find pictures of another dog who looks similar to Bo, doodle genetics are funny aren't they so much variety.

Hi, welcome to the group.  Ginger is beautiful!  I am thinking our Bo will look a lot like her when he grows up except maybe a bit shaggier around the muzzle since he seems to be attempting to grow a little beard :-)  How is Ginger's shedding compared to that of a golden?  Bo doesn't shed much yet but he is still young so that may change lol.  So glad you guys found Ginger and are able to give her the care she needs, thanks for giving her the chance to live a great life!

Ginger coat looks so silky soft. I bet she's easier to maintain than the thick curls. Does she shed?    Maybe you could delete the photo then try again.

My name is Ginger and I'm a 16 month old GoldenDoodle. I'm the proud owner of two humans named Scott & Tori. I really love them and I'm sure they love me. They didn't come find me until I was 4 1/2 months old... and I wasn't even playing hide n' seek with them yet! But I'm sure glad it was them I chose to take me to my forever home because they have take real good care of me and can proudly call me their $10,000 dog! With beauty like mine, I mean, WHY NOT?

You see, I've had a bit…
