The Weber's are such great people! It is a small world, isn't it?! They gave me lots of great training tips....they hunt with theirs. I love the size of these mini's just big enough to lift up (hopefully :)) but not too little. We live in the Rose Creek neighborhood- our house backs 25th street. Are you close? It would be great to get together this fall. I start back to work on August 10th. I am sure the HOT weather will wait to return until then.
We weighed Cooper yesterday and he's 35 lbs. He went to the groomer right before 4th of July and got his face trimmed. We're trying to keep his hair long because we think he's much cuter that way. The groomer recommended frequent brushing with a metal comb to help with matting and that has helped a bit. We look forward to seeing pictures!
Duffy actually hasn't been trimmed ever. He just has nice loose curls on his back and sides which give him a fairly neat appearance. His head and legs have more of a "dredlock" texture so are scruffier. We have been debating whether to give him a summer trim. Murphy is sooo cute!
Last time we weighed in was early April, about a week or two ago. He was 26-27lbs. We've been feeding him the NutriSource Puppy, as much as he wants 2 or 3 times a day (probably a cup or two total for the day). Sometimes he sticks his nose up at it but he does eat it eventually. We've also been giving him a lot of treats (when he's being good, of course!).
