A Community of Labradoodle & Goldendoodle Lovers

Tomorrow is the day that we can finally bring Maple home! This has been a long week but that time has helped us to prepare for our puppy. This picture is the final collection of puppy stuff that I bought for her. I'm curious to see how the Snuggle Puppy works! Will be picking up a few more things tomorrow at the pet store before going to get little Maple. :-)

Holy moly, $1750 is a lot! Good thing that they took the $800, $1750 is just crazy. I'm glad your Picco is such a good doggie! A very cute one too!

Wow that is a low price! I didn't get shots or anything, just a pup with stinky ears (but not infected) for $800. They started at $1750 and kept dropping the price. So when they got down to $1000 and 3 months old, I offered $800. They only sold 1 pup during that time so they would take anything. It was obvious that these people were just out to make money off "Goldendoodles" so no one was putting up for the high price!  But Picco is priceless!  Such a sweetheart and was an unbelievably good pup!

I'd say the Snuggle Puppy is about the same size, maybe a tad bigger than she is. :-)
We're getting Maple from a lady who breeds all different kinds of Doodles (Aussies, Goldens, Sheepa, and Bernedoodles) as well as purebred Poodles, and her puppy prices are pretty cheap compared to other places we've looked at ($750). We were a little skeptical about the place at first, but they really wanted us to meet the parents which was a good sign. They also have done the distemper and deworming etc and they send every owner home with papers, so we decided it wasn't too risky after all.
My childhood dogs, Jack and Jill, both had hand me down toys and food bowls, etc. Jill is at home with my dad in Pennsylvania where I'm from. I would have loved to have some of her old stuff sent here instead of having to buy it all, but recently my dad downsized the endless amounts of dog toys, blankets and brushes that she's collected over the years. Haha!

I'm curious about the Snuggle Puppy too.  Is it bigger than Maple?   I hope it works out for you!  You sure are prepared - That is sweet!

I bought Picco from a backyard breeder so I really wasn't sure if I was bringing home a pup or not.  I offered much less than the asking price, so I got him.  He had to settle for hand me down toys and stuff from my last dog, stuff that I couldn't bring myself to throw out!  I eventually got him his own toys which he has many of but he plays with most of them still.
