Just proves dogs can reason!  LOL  After Gizmo got used to the horse, he was fine.  It was just that initial "What IS it" reaction.  :)

Haha, this reminds me of several moments with Bailey and with a miniature poodle we used to take care of for our neighbors when they were away. One time with Bailey was last year, when she was still a puppy. A girl was excersising (sp) her horse in the fields near our apartment building and we were approaching from quite a distance. Bailey was curious and pulling my arm out of its socket to "meet the doggy" in the distance. But when we arrived at the spot, the "doggy" was a huge black horse and she didn't know how fast she wanted to get away from it, LOL!

With the miniature poodle it was always fun, with horses and (big) dogs. I swear she must've had eyesight issues, because she'd be doing her "tough dog" bark from a distance, you know the "get off my yard" bark. And then, the closer she'd come and the more she'd realize that whatever she was approaching was much, much, bigger than she was, she'd grow awfully quiet and hide behind us. Too funny.
