Agreed.   Dianne.  Question, how do you pronounce it?  Is it like diddy (Did he) bite you (ya)?

Grace, how could anybody name their child, Stone???  I used to teach first grade and I am very much afraid I probably would have mentally pre-judged the kid the first day!  For sure, the other kids will!!

Diane, Diddybiteya is a GREAT name - I love it!!!

Barbara, I'm trying to envision a "rat-poo"!  I'm assuming he was a rat terrier poodle mix - and since my other dog is a Jack Russell, I can definitely understand the significance of  "PITA"!  -  I'd have plagiarized the name if I didn't already have one for him!  It's funny how those names come to us sometimes - "Eddie" caused my rescued Jack Russell to turn his head and look at us, so we just let it stick.  My favorite name, however, was one someone else had named their dog:   "Diddybiteya".  LOL!

Got ya!  Don't get me wrong I like the name Bolt and you know Little Green 3 might just surprise you and be the fastest Doodle in the world.  They change all the time.    And I think Bolt is very masculine.  I worked with a guy and when they had their first baby it was a boy and they named it Stone.  I don't know, different strokes for different folks.  But my opinion, how could you brand someone with that name.  I really think he is going to be teased in school.  Maybe not.

My favorite dog and my favorite dog name was Pita, which is what I named an 10 lb rat-poo.  He would answer to nothing and I finally got the name from one of their websites.  It stood for Pain_In_The_A...  He came the first time I used it and the rest of the world always thought it was because he was so little.  Definitely my favorite dog ever and the only name I ever got right!

This picture came to me from the Kennel with the caption, "He is doing what he does best."  They knew I wanted a couch potato dog.  It happened to come at the same time the Olympics were on, saying Bolt was the fastest man alive right now.  You got it!  :)

Oh Barbara.  You tickle me.  "He looks like a couch potato, I think I will call him Bolt"  LOL  Get it?  Now let me see if I have this right.  a couch potato which is usally lazy and then Bolt, like a bolt of speeding lightening.  Hahahahhahaha.    I'm only kidding around with you.  No matter what you name him, you will find yourself down the road saying, "I should have named him this or I should have named him that.  Usually after the fact that it is too late to change his name.  We do it all the time.  LOL

He looks so much like a couch potato, I am thinking of calling him Bolt!
