You did a great job! Know it took a lot of patience to get that result! I have a grooming table with 2 posts/leashes, and as long as Dulcie's hair is less than 2 inches, I can conquer the mats, but any more than that and we are both miserable because it takes so long to comb it out and she definitely inherited the poodle hair (F1b) except for her tail.  I've tried every tool in the book, but the pin brush followed by a steel comb seems to work the best.  I have a little rubber tipped pin brush that I use on her face, ears and feet (she doesn't fight it as much).  My groomer and I have finally found a length we can both live with where she doesn't look too skinned, but I think Dulcie would rather be almost bald because she gets so hot, summer and winter!  I am like a Momma trying to keep her little girl's hair long.  Lol!

Dianne, I spent days untangling her, because I had neglected brushing her for a few weeks.  I would do a leg, or an ear in a sitting.  Then I scissored her down to about 2-3 inch coat.
Molly loves to sit looking out the window with me while I eat breakfast at this table.  I think we might be watching for squirrels ... or at least one of us is.

Rose, Molly is so beautiful!  Her coat doesn't look like a "tangler"!  I just brought Dulcie back from the groomer and we had to cut her pretty close - I just can't conquer her curly, curly hair (especially on the feet!).  Having a little long hair envy here . . .     ;)

Creative sleeping spot. At least she's not taking anyone's space.

Love that sweet, sweet face!  She looks pretty comfy there!
