Gizmo has ceramic bowls.   I thought for sure his noise was black a couple months ago.  His leg may be a problem.  We took him to the Vet a couple days ago cuz he was licking his behind.   He actually removed hair under his tail!  The Vet said he needed his anal glands expressed.  Anyway, he checked his leg to and found that the tendon is very lose in his knee.   We have to go back in a month for another check.   It may require another surgery.

Terry is not doing well at all.  He had an emergency gall  bladder removal in January.  It had adhered to his stomach and liver, and the stone was 2" in diameter!  In doing the surgery,  the live was nicked and repaired.  He also had a terrible cold.  When he came home he was coughing really hard and thought he tore the stitches or something.  Then he got terrible pain in his stomach and around to the back.  Anyway...long story short...Ct scans,  MRI’s, and chest x rays...shortness of breath and weakness, fluid in lungs and fluid in sack around lungs.    Nine weeks later we are in the hospital.  Dr.s say there's not enough fluid to warrant a tap to draw it out.  Not sure what is causing shortness of breath.  Right now he's doing a stress test (on a Treadmill).  It could be the Wegeners. We just don't know yet.

Aren't you sorry you asked?   LOL Thanks for caring.

Jo I remember some time ago there was a blog or just comments going around how a Dog's nose turns pink when they drink out of medal dishes??????????  Does anyone remember that?  Pemon eats out of a medal dish, but his nose is dark, not quite black more like brown.

Gizmo looks wonderful!  Jo, I actually had a little dog once who started out with a mostly pink nose that turned black! Dulcie still has her rose nose - I've grown quite attached to it!  And I'm feeling all the hidden mats in Dulcie's coat and preparing myself mentally for that first shearing that will have to be done before summer gets here.  I know it grows back, but I'm still dreading it!  Lol.  I have to laugh at myself for being such a silly Doodle Mommy!

Thanks.  No, I'm sorry to say I did not make the quilt ... JC Penney.  LOL.  I sew, but nothing that elaborate.  I wish!  He was groomed yesterday by the groomer at the boarding/daycare facility I take him to.  It was her first time doing it.  He didn't get a cut...just bathed, toes, ears & combed out.  He is sooooo soft and fluffy now.  Funny you should mention his nose ... A few months ago I would swear it was black with just a little pink on the top.  Now it is all pink.  I didn't know noses could change color!
