This is exactly why I have come to realize and accept that it is them who train us... But they reward us with so much unconditional love that I wouldn't have it any other way!

I love your photos Kathy, keep them coming!

Hugs from Alessandra and loving paws from Pedro

Maybe they just enjoy making us do the same thing they do...go get the toy!!!   Sunny started "sharing" his treats with me about a month ago.   He will take the treat then "flip" it back to me.   I pretend that I am going to get it and eat it, and he of course watches and stomps his feet until he thinks I just might grab it.   He grabs it and flips it in a different direction and the game begins again.   If I give him two small treats, it's twice the fun...

Pemon does it all the time, especially when we are playing catch with him.  You throw him a toy and he catches it then brings it back to you but stays far enough away so you can't get the toy back.  When you reach out, he jerks his head just so slightly to the side so you can't reach it.  When he's good and ready he will give it to you, but again drop it in front of your just out of reach.  I use my back scratcher to slide it to me.  With Mark he really drops it far away and then barks telling Mark to get up and pick it up and of course us idiots do it.  LOL  They do have a funny sense of humor.  But always know how to make you laugh.

I am at last checking out comments; have been cleaning out old paperwork...ACK!!!   Sunny keeps grabbing this one old business card that for some strange reason he finds attractive, then won't give it back.   How do dogs know, within a fraction of an inch, how long a person's reach is?  Why is it you can NEVER grab a dog if it doesn't want you to?  And why do they find this game so funny?

Sunny you are one smart Doodle!  I would definitely proceed with caution.  Kathy, they are beautiful!
