thanks, lois, for the info and the complement. i'll have to find out much sam's parents weighed so i'll have some idea about how big he will be. right now he weighs about 5 more pounds than eloise did at this age

The size of the Dood depends on its parentage. A general rule of thumb is to add both the parents weights together and divide by 2 to get an average adult weight on the puppies. Within any litter there may be puppies that fall above or below the projected adult weights.

Standard - A Goldendoodle that is predicted to be 45 lbs or more at adulthood.

Medium - A Goldendoodle that is predicted to be 30-45 lbs at adulthood.

Miniature - A Goldendoodle that is predicted to be 15-30 lbs at adulthood.

No Phyllis, Eloise is not a smaller Dood.  Eloise is a normal Dood!Our Breeder told us that Pemon would max out at 60 lbs.    Well, I will not compete with you on Photos.  It is a beautiful picture.

Eloise must be a smaller doodle. she only weighs 55 lbs. i thought she was going to be bigger it's a professional portrait, but i took it. i'm a professional photographer. thanks for the complement

Wow Phyllis - she looks beautiful!  Pemon is only a month older.  How much does she weigh at 18 months?  Pemon was weighing 94 lbs.  Is this a professional picture or did you edit this?
