Hello to UK Doodle families :)
I'm Fiona and I live in Brighton with my two kids (6&2) and their Daddy. We're expecting our lovely doodle boy in a couple of weeks time. We've got lots to learn, but we're really looking forward to him coming to live with us.
My son has High Functioning Autism, so I'm hoping to train our pup to be a therapy dog for him. But if it doesn't work my little girl adores animals and she and I will love him like a little brother.
I'm looking forward to chatting with you all, and getting some advice no and then.

Hello everyone! I'm excited to have found you and I'm loving the photos and Doodle chat! I'm hoping to get a Golden Doodle and have been wondering about breeders. It would be great if anyone could recommend a good breeder- I'm in Hampshire, southern England. My local vet said personal recommendations are the best way to find good breeders... So fingers crossed:)
Thanks in advance!

Yes Molly also gets bored easy during training - i think she just wants to get on with it - not keen on the sitting around waiting for her turn. Yes she also think everyone is a puppy and is there for her to play with including my friends labradoodle aged 6 ( who is now smaller than her as she is crossed with a mini poodle ) who has to remind her now and then that age does have its prerogatives!

Hi Andrea, Indie appears to have got nearly all her adult teeth. I haven't had too much trouble with biting but she does chew on nylabones & raw hide chews quite a bit, which I think has helped. My Labrador also teethed on the same things but did have a stage of biting me, when he did bite I would squeal loudly, followed with "gentle" & he would stop. Now he is the biggest baby going. Indie has also just finished her first set of puppy classes & has been quite good, the biggest problem I have is that she gets bored easily & then wants to play with the other puppies. She then starts barking & playing the class clown which is quite embarrassing!

Hi Bryan, Indie is doing well & growing bigger by the day. Just had her weighed & she's 21.7 kg (5 1/2 months old) & has feet like saucers!! Any ideas on when they stop growing upwards or when they get their adult coat??

Hi Molly is now 6 months old and has just finished her first 10 weeks of puppy training. The instructor is really impressed with her and now we are moving up! she still has some baby teeth and therefore still has this 'biting' thing going on - did anybody else suffer this and if so how long did it go on for?  love to hear from you
